Don't worry, it's just for an event. And they can't be revived within that event, you still get to keep them in the main game.


It's just for an event.

I don't see any indication of the characters not being able to be revived just within that event.

Although I understood that it means permadeath only in context of that event, so in the worst case it should amount to people avoiding that event entirely.

If it's just for an event that's a little weird since Grand Hero battles just flat out give you a game over for even losing one unit.

I honestly forgot you could even revive units with Light's Blessings just because of how rare it is for me.

I think amiibo have the advantage of not having to make a big lot at once compared to other TTL lines. Not to mention they work with many more games and there's no power creep forcing you to constantly buy new ones, burning you out. Though I think they're using them as a crutch to prop up smaller games like Chibi-Robo.That can't be healthy.

Well everyone; I can confirm I have obtained the Nintendo Switch (joycongelguards). Yes, the acesssories are gray; there was only one left in stock as well, so I decided to pick it up. At least it's something to prepare for future use when I actually get the console itself.

Picked it up from a Target that is not my native one, interestingly enough.

So in some sadder news, some very reliable sources (I'd link, but the website is getting 503'd) are saying that Lego Dimensions is getting quietly cancelled, and that they'll finish up Year 2 only, and not the original three year plan.

I gotta say, that really sucks if it's true. I was waiting to jump in in case a Switch port happened, but it looks like that won't be happening. And if the Skylanders rumor is also true, it means that amiibo is the last surviving toys to life line left.

I was hoping they'd add Jack Sparrow to year three. Oh well, despite the bugginess of year two, at least some cool sets came out throughout the game's lifespan. I mean, Chell and Sonic have Lego minifigures now. That's awesome.

Heard about this too, it sucks seeing as how I really got into the game and there are many franchises I wanted to see (namely Mega Man and Ed, Edd n Eddy).

Still, I'm thankful that it gave me something I've always wanted since I was a kid, LEGO Sonic.

Hopefully LEGO Sonic sets become an actual thing.

I really wish Nintendo did a Disney Infinity/LEGO Dimensions styled game while amiibo were hot. But that looks like it will never happen.

I definitely want to pick up a few packs at least, like the Scooby and Shaggy pack, Chell, Sonic, and Doc Brown. Maybe the Harry and Voldemort pack as well. They're going on clearance a lot anyway.

I'd honestly love a full amiibo game done better than amiibo Festival. Maybe an RPG of sorts. I doubt it'll happen now though, sadly. :/

Things are starting to come together in this game...Did some exploring in Hyrule Castle...Guardians everywhere...And I was forced to fight a Lynel, ptsd flashbacks collecting Shock Arrows, this time I HAD to fight it and damn did it put up a frikkin fight...but I managed to take it down without dying...
Eventually found the last memory I needed, was able to approximate the location using the Map for Hyrule Castle, also found Zelda's study which had a little diary which spoke about the discovery of the Sheikah Slate and the Shrine of Resurrection, which was pretty interesting...After obtaining the last memory I went back to Impa who then showed me an image for the final memory, which I then found...because I knew the location...

Still going to try to find the remaining shrines and am going to explore more of Hyrule Castle before making my final push to Calamity Ganon and Zelda...but it's looking like I'm quickly approaching the end...and by quickly I mean I still have a ton of gameplay left to do since there's still so much of the game I haven't explored yet...



Oh, and I found a Giant Horse!! I called him Russia because I didn't know what else to name him...you can also ride a Stalhorse as well, don't know if you can keep him cuz it died when the sun rose before I could register it at a stable...

I also finally found the last Leviathan, as suspected it was hidden in a cave under the mountains since the other two you can see from the world map...
