They skipped E because having a big ol' "F" on your paper, standing very clearly for FAIL, is more apparenttbh the stupidest thing about American grades is that the ****ing system can't spell. A, B, C, D, F
Where the **** is E?
That's dumb unless the other grades all stand for something thenThey skipped E because having a big ol' "F" on your paper, standing very clearly for FAIL, is more apparent
A stands for AwesomeThat's dumb unless the other grades all stand for something then
Are you implying it's not the case in some places?...This explains so much...
...Isn't a dunce supposed to be stupid? As in, "lol this guy can't even read" or something? Because that sounds more like a failure as it's an outright insultA stands for Awesome
B stands for Better
C stands for Common
D stands for Dunce
F stands for Fail
If you're stupid you can probably still succeed in manual labor...Isn't a dunce supposed to be stupid? As in, "lol this guy can't even read" or something? Because that sounds more like a failure as it's an outright insult
You only get a short time to actually learn **** from teachers and you have to jump through hoops forcing you to do homework in your free time, making you much more reluctant to actually do it. No wonder the stereotype of America is stupid, that system is ****ing bonkers. Are you implying it's not the case in some places?
That's the general case I see around me too. Whatever you read in one semester is useless after that semester, so it's only natural that it's forgotten.
Those schools are ****ing awful. Stupidly high demands and being outright insultingIf you're stupid you can probably still succeed in manual labor
But being a failure means no matter what you try you won't succeed
What is the education system like in Europe? You only get a short time to actually learn **** from teachers and you have to jump through hoops forcing you to do homework in your free time, making you much more reluctant to actually do it. I'd rather do less homework, because it's tests I was good at.What is the education system like in Europe?
To me, while the system in America is really harsh, it's not that different from the education system here in India. Though we get much less homework.
It depends on the country and school, though English and French schools are REALLY lax in comparison, because we use points instead. You pass if you get a 5.5 out of 10 in the Netherlands at least and in my case, I only go to school once a week and I only have like 2 assignments for the rest of the school year before exams, I can skip every other class if I want toWhat is the education system like in Europe?

That's quite lax, huh.It depends on the country and school, though English and French schools are REALLY lax in comparison, because we use points instead. I learned about this **** because of tumblr and simpsonsThat's quite lax, huh.
It's kind of the same here. As long you score more than 40%, you pass. And we get one assignment per subject per semester.
We are required to attend 75% of our classes though.
The push to do well really comes from the family and job criteria. You need to score >80% in both school and college if want to land a well paying job.
LOL, is that true?I learned about this **** because of tumblr and simpsons

There's a naughty word in there so be warned I guess
Yeah, I don't get that. Why 59% considered a failure?I learned about this **** because of tumblr and simpsons

I mean, if you are a heart surgeon and only remember half of what you were taught it's going to cause some problemsYeah, I don't get that. Why 59% considered a failure?
It means you were able to retain more than half of what was taught. That's not really bad enough to warrant a Fail.
In school though?I mean, if you are a heart surgeon and only remember half of what you were taught it's going to cause some problems
Here are mostly scaled simply in 0-100.American students are known for being some of the most stressed out students out there, and now that I've seen the grading, y'all need a better grading system like the rest of the world, no letters, just a scale from 0/10
I also remember I think CNN calculating how much Hogwarts would actually cost with it going to millions, then some people double checked and saw that it's more like 80 bucksFor one college class at a community college it's like $250 + a whole tons of fees that keep on being piled up each year
That's just one class
Well, when I was young I went to a private school and it was about $200 a month, so I mean depending on how prestigious it isI also remember I think CNN calculating how much Hogwarts would actually cost with it going to millions, then some people double checked and saw that it's more like 80 bucks

And that is extremely cheapAlso a fun fact, my school is a college and they round up scores by 5s
Got a 7.2? it's a 7. Got a 5.3? You pass, it's 5.5
And 2 years at college is at most 300 euros
idk, The classes Ive been taking in collage give me little to no homework and are mostly testsWhat is the education system like in Europe?

...Some like to review a full movie? Considering it's a movie of a major franchise, many don't want to step on any toes and just watch the whole thing first. The thing is, MMPR is pretty much the most popular season for many reasons. Might as well avoid any backlash and actually give a proper review.Jesus christ, there are SO many clips of that ****ing power rangers movie out yet there aren't any reviews up yet? Someone there needs a slapped bottom
That's not what I'm talking about Irene. Why are all those clips on youtube yet the review embargoes aren't lifted? The movie comes out in about a week...Some like to review a full movie? Are they official clips given by trailers? That said, it's because they probably want proper reviews due to how nostalgia and major they expect the movie to be. You can avoid fanrage this way. That's not what I'm talking about Irene. Why are all those clips on youtube yet the review embargoes aren't lifted? The movie comes out in about a week

The only people who can give a good review is honestly someone who sees the whole movie, especially when the fanbase is big.
Anyway, gtg.
BatB is out this week in most countries. But
Irene
What about professional critics?
Logan and Beauty and the Beast reviews went out a while ago
BatB is out AFTER that movie yet it already had the embargo lifted
I'm not talking about the general audience
Okay, that solves my questionBatB is out this week in most countries.
Power rangers embargo lifts on the 20th.

FYI, we haven't started building yet. Just watching more architecture documentaries as usual. You'll be lucky to make it by break time when the real work begins.Meanwhile, I'm running late to a class. How embarassing. On the bright side, Raiden had too onesided of a victory. Nobody wanted to touch Vamp nor the Boss, yet few people supported Psycho Mantis. Those mind reading tricks must have been memorable.
Now we are in Metal Gear Rising territory. Your choices are Sundowner, Senstor Armstrong, Jetstream Sam, and Monsoon. Expect a lot of memes and nanomachines son.
There was a problem fetching the tweet
Let's see how little time I'll have to build my model when I get there.
