I think the reason we use letters instead of just numbers is because what % makes up a specific grade actually varies by teacher

While the letter grade applies to a total GPA

A=4.0
B=3.0
C=2.0
D=1.0
F=0.0

We get both points and grades. The grade is the only one that matters though.

It's like this

>90 = O
81~90 = A
71~80 = B
61~70 = C
51~60 = D
40~50 = E
<40 = F(ail)

So getting 81 on a test and 89 is the same for your GPA.

To me, while the system in America is really harsh, it's not that different from the education system here in India. Though we get much less homework.

I could study for them and pass them, but getting homework in every day is what knocked my grades down in highschool and before

It depends on the country and school, though English and French schools are REALLY lax in comparison, because we use points instead. You pass if you get a 5.5 out of 10 in the Netherlands at least and in my case, I only go to school once a week and I only have like 2 assignments for the rest of the school year before exams, I can skip every other class if I want to

We are required to attend 75% of our classes though.

The push to do well really comes from the family and job criteria. You need to score >80% in both school and college if want to land a well paying job.

It means you were able to retain more than half of what was taught. That's not really bad enough to warrant a Fail.

American students are known for being some of the most stressed out students out there, and now that I've seen the grading, y'all need a better grading system like the rest of the world, no letters, just a scale from 0/10

And 2 years at college is at most 300 euros

Wow, that's really low
As I said before, the average score here is 70% pass directly, if you get less than that but at least 50%, you have to go through some exams to try to recover the score you need. Below 50% is an automatic fail.

Are they official clips given by trailers? That said, it's because they probably want proper reviews due to how nostalgia and major they expect the movie to be. You can avoid fanrage this way.

The only people who can give a good review is honestly someone who sees the whole movie, especially when the fanbase is big.
