Oh, cool, this actually kinda confirms a lot of my headcanons about Lucario.

I don't think it's actually true mind reading like everyone here is saying, but a Lucario could find out ENOUGH just by picking up on someone's emotions. I mean, think about it. That's how a lie detector works: it picks up on someone's emotions. But that's just stress. Imagine if you could pick up on every emotion, every nuance. If you had it beaming down on you constantly from all directions, you'd probably be able to go beyond lie detectors and pick up on cues that someone is a sociopath. Eventually you'd start picking up on subtle character traits and life details about people just from subtlety and context. Think about that.

Now let's also keep in mind that as stated in another dex entry from the original SuMo set they can basically tell what species someone's "aura" (probably and extension of their soul all things considered) is. Now, what happens when they find a Spiritomb? 108 malicious human souls chained to a freaking rock and melted together into a single amalgamation. How do you think a Lucario is going to react to that?

Now keep in mind that Lucario can tell all of this with everything in a half mile radius.

I imagine being born with some shred of the ability means the average Lucario is kind of used to it to a degree, but specifically focusing in on someone to get a read on their battle tactics and instead realizing they're thinking something perverted about you has still gotta be hella awkward.
Lucario: *reads aura of Salazzle*
Salazzle: (Hey cutie, how about you dump that trainer and be a part of my harem? I promise I'll treat you better then they ever could. ;))
Lucario: *looks at trainer* Switch me out! SWITCH ME OUT!

Lucario knows if you're a furry or not.

You cannot hide in your metaphorical closets. :troll:
Lucario: *reads mind*
Person: "Oh god he's so hot!"
Lucario: "What the ****!?"

Relicanth is the ultimate life-form and I approve this

Hey, guys!

What kind of shenanigans is going on here?
USUM leaks are flowing around...

I have also heard some Youtubers say the Xenoblade Chronicles 2's promotion isn't that good. That said I'm not sure how well Nintendo expect it to sell, in my opinion as long as it sells more than X and have better review scores than X then I won't complain. It will be even better if this game surpasses the original's review scores.

Hello everyone, just stopping in to say some things. Wish I could be more active in posting this post week but I'm pretty sick and my laptop broke. So I'm using my phone now. I won't have a computer till the end of the month again but I will say I saw some of the leaks. The game looks pretty good but I still wish it had some more. That said if you haven't played sun or moon this is looking like a must buy. Also that new shiny method is pretty interesting though

I finished my Fakedex a while ago, ending up with 135 new Pokémon (same as Hoenn). The region is named Ethos, and it's based off of Greece, so many of the Pokémon are based off Greek mythology. Every type has at least one three stage (bar Normal and Fairy).

Here's the Dex.

Also here's the first Dex I created (though a lot of this stuff is really unrealistic).

With all this Pokémon stuff, I almost forgot: I still have a spare download code for a level 100 Shiny Silvally. Anyone want it?

First come, first serve and North American version of Sun & Moon only.

If you don't get it from me, GameStop stores are giving out these special cards until November 13.
Anyone? I ain't asking for money or anything.

Same. That teaser trailer that was put out for SMTV a few weeks ago made me ridiculously hype even though we didn't learn anything new about the game.

My man :shades: How've you been?
Good as I ever was mate.

And wait there was an SMTV teaser?

Sporcle's Gaming category is kind of disappointing. Not many good video game quizzes there.
Also hi. I saw the leaks, not all, but most of them. I didn't like everything, not that I expected I would, but I'm still looking forward to USUM. Curious to what they're going to show in tomorrow's trailer.

So, Sonic Forces is a very flawed game that I ultimately find fun anyway. I'm halfway ish done with it, I think (Just did Guardian Rock.)

Favorite level right now is probably Central City, but damn it really should've been longer (most levels should really.) The Avatar is my favorite part of the game, I've enjoyed it's levels the most and I'm always a **** for customization. I would definitely love for the feature to come back, but it won't, so I'll keep enjoying it here.

Classic Sonic is an anomaly because he feels horrendously and shamelessly shoehorned in. He's the weakest part of the game, but mostly because he's barely there. Once you get past the weird physics, his levels are alright. Ghost Town in particular I found pretty good. And the music for his levels are really nice, instead of the techno-pop he had in Generations he gets very Genesis/retrowave-sounding music. If I had to make a direct comparison, it sounds not so much like the Genesis Sonic games and more like Streets of Rage.

Story is pretty weak but has a certain charm to it I can't quite explain. Can't forgive them misusing Chaos like that though, hell the villians in general. They hardly make an impact, I'm halfway done and all 4 are already gone and 2 of those were done-in in the most anticlimactic way possible. Considering how much they hyped these four it almost borders on false advertising (not really but I'm still annoyed.)

I won't be playing again for a while since I got Uni work to do.

Oh and in other news I FINALLY have Mario Odyssey.

so for those wondering what the new shiny hunting method of USUM is
while riding your legendary of choice in ultra space theres wormholes white ones lead to UB's
there are ones that lead to random encounters and then you have ones with rings around them these ringed wormholes have shiny pokemon, as you go on you increase the chance of seeing ringed wormholes, and theres aparantly double ringed wormholes

heres an image of one such wormhole

Warning where its due inverted controls in the ultra wormwhole ride

Just beat Metro Kingdom, and I gotta say, it was pretty damn good, definitely one of my favorite Mario levels.
Like, there's NO empty space, there's always something to do in every part of the map and moving around is just so fun.

And in the end I only got 36 Moons... there are 66 total in there >_>
I know three of those are from the racing car minigame and the jumping rope one but I am NOT stressing myself with them

Don't get the hype behind the festival though, it's nice and all and the music is neat but eh
I got a secret Moon from there though so wouldn't that be missable?

Biggest lost opportunity though? The fact there's no 3D recreation of the original Donkey Kong.

You can redo the festival as many times as you want. There are no missable moons in the game.

So, who's getting Doom tomorrow?
I am - I already played through it on the PC, but the game was so good that I've got no problem with double dipping, and I generally don't like first person shooters!

I've been hearing a lot of good things about Doom, even from folks who don't generally play shooters. I'm definitely considering picking it up when I get a Switch.

Doom is pure mindless fun. Picked up the PS4 version earlier in the year and had a blast with it.

Full price for the Switch version is a bit much for me to consider double dipping but it is definitely a game I can recommend.

Speaking of Bethesda offerings on the Switch, pretty sure I'll pick up Wolfenstein II next year since I don't have it. Skyrim I already have and I've got too many other games to play to want to get it again. Would be nice if the previous Wolfenstein gets ported seeing as I don't have it.

Got back into Kingdom Hearts Unchained. I missed this mindless fun.

DOOM is absolutely a game im going to buy, even if it sounds like the port isnt perfect. Way too much praise from places like ERA. Not a day 1, since I rarely buy games day 1, but it and Wolfenstein are "100% must buys" even though i've never played previous games in the series.

I don't know why, but that inspired me to make this.

The only way to describe this image. . .is as "perfect"

DOOM is the best shooter this generation easily. Wolfenstein 2 is also a fantastic shooter (I do wish they'd port New Order over as well so people know the story).

You're all in for a treat.

Ok... first off for the mod I apologize censor dodge... seems that I was a bit hot headed...

Here's the sfw version
since there's a risk posting Twitter link with swears... I'll post the gif instead

Poppi/ Hana is doing what a typical anime maid does...

sadly this gif didn't capture the hilarious expression of Rex and Pyra...
And this is from the IGN gameplay if anyone wants to check it out. I will be only watching the game play and not the cutscenes.

This is from the IGN gameplay, I think I'll ignore any gameplay cutscenes from then on.

hm... that post was deleted by mod... how did you quote that post?
YES! This expression!
I recommend you set it as spoiler though... or not...
I was editing it and composing my response while all of that was going on.

I snipped all of the things that were problematic out of the quote when I saw it happening, so I should be fine. . .right?
