Idk about Zoro, but I know Erza is infamous for being broken in her own series.

Having a sword that breaks through space and time, being able to fight even after all her 5 senses were disabled, etc.

She gets a lot of flak for having shonen plot armor almost as bad as the main character.

I had to dig out the old file on it because I discarded it but kept the folder in case I changed my mind, but here it is; my old Human-Type idea. Its basically what Fairies are today but not as strong.

Please note that while balancing was on the table, the real reason why this typing existed was for the original intended storyline to work, where the idea was that all living creatures are connected, and some Pokemon, like monkeys and some humanoid species, are more human then most, and as son/daughter of the Professor, it was up to you to discover and learn the typing.

Basically, its this Human child who you meet throughout you're journey, but you learn he's actually a Pokémon himself and he challenges you at Victory Road to see if you're a worthy of his companionship like all Pokémon do.

The reason why it was scrapped: When Fairy-Type came around, I made the decision to use Fairy instead of this type. I eventually scrapped the box legendary, and nearly everything regarding the storyline as a result.

Human doesn't really sound like it would fit as a type, name wise

Canon Types. Again, I see no need to add anything except repair what we got. For example, Fairy is weak to Bug and Bug resists Fairy. I need to do more research on how else I can change the current typings to balance them out.
