IMO rebranded Pokémon would be:
Cleffa Clefairy Clefable (Fairy-Cosmic)
Solrock and Lunatone (Rock-Cosmic)
Jirachi (Cosmic-Steel)
Deoxys (Cosmic)
Elgyem and Beheeyem (Cosmic-Psychic)
Minior (Rock-Cosmic)
And maybe the UBs as well.
Rebranded moves would be Cosmic Power, Psycho Boost, Comet Punch, Meteor Mash, and Ancient Power.

Sound honestly does have more than enough moves to be its own type, honestly. But Normal covers that well too. Likewise, many of those moves could fall under Ghost(due to how mysterious the attacks are), ???(for obvious reasons), Fairy(they love playing tricks), or Psychic(although a stretch, it does use manipulation tactics).
In my case, I feel Normal doesn't work for my Quest 64 Pokemon hack as well as Beast does. So a lot of that stuff is generally moved to Fairy instead. I could put some under Wind(which replaces Flying), though. Hard to say. I tried not to add a ton of types and kept it as simple as possible. ??? doesn't work too well as a type anyway. If I didn't make it clear, to note, it's a Ruby/Sapphire hack, two versions and all.
If I were to add a new type, it'd be Light, it is the most obvious one after all
But I'd use it to balance other types:
When attacking:
Strong against: Fairy, Ghost and Electric
Weak against: Grass, Psychic and Ice
When defending:
Strong against: Fairy, Ghost and Fighting
Weak against: Dark, Bug and Psychic
Fairy and Ghost both have only two weaknesses while Electric only has one; Grass, Psychic and Ice aren't very strong defensively so they need a buff; Fairy is still very prominent offensively and the unresisted Ghost+Fighting combo needs to stop; finally, Dark, Bug and Psychic all suck offensively as it is now so they get another type they can deal SE damage on
Ideally the difference would be that while Psychic deals with more "brainy" and mind-based things, Magic would be more of the pure energy type that is incomprehensible to most.
The rebranded moves would be Magic Bounce, Confuse Ray, Light Screen, Reflect, Metronome, Trick Room, Trick, and other similar moves. Basically a lot of Psychic support moves. They'd then gain offensive moves that serve mainly to disrupt and disorient foes.
For balance reasons, they'd resist the fundamental elements of water, ground, fire, and electric, while being weak to Bug, Ghost, and Poison.
Honestly it'd be closer to Fairy than Psychic, but I think they could coexist. Delphox, Mr. Mime, and Hoopa would be some of the rebranded Pokémon.
There aren't really any near me, so I've only been there once. It was pretty fun. Was even funnier when a guy forgot to leave his park on and rolled backwards through the concession stand and on of the screens. As you watched the movies, shadows of fire trucks or police came by.
No one was hurt thankfully, so it was pretty funny.
Man pollution may be bad, but that water looks pretty cool now.
Oh wow. That's a once in a lifetime experience, alright. Never seen anything utterly Sturgeon's Law like that at a drive in before. Hopefully they had an easy enough time rebuilding and it didn't ruin anyone's opportunity to buy treats or watch a movie too badly, but man. LOL.
There's two that I've been to. One was a single screen one that's really, really near where I grew up when I was a little kid. Then I moved and it's a significantly longer drive away now, but there's now another one about the same distance away as it that has three screens instead of one. And apparently a mini golf course on the premises, but I haven't tried that. I haven't been to either in years, but I still have the memories.
I don't see anything really fitting into Pokemon well when it comes to typings at least not in a way that works both conceptually AND for balancing...
Magic and Cosmic typings are redundant with Psychic typing working for both concepts...
Sound is the closest I can see working, but Sound likely would be an additional nerf to typings that really don't need a nerf and it likely doesn't suppress any overpowered typings...
I can see its matchups working something like this:
Super effective against
Rock
Ice
Psychic
Weak against
Electric
Ground
Water
Resists
Sound
Psychic
Resisted by
Steel
Water
Electric
Ground
Immune to
Dark
Conceptually it works but it doesn't help the matchup spread...
I would say something about a burlap sack filled with insects, but then I find monitor lizards a bit cute in addition to being cool so I'd probably be the pot calling the kettle black, LOL.
Not that I'm disagreeing with Oogie's observation or anything.
Since I've been posting a lot of LEGO Dimensions recently, I figure I should share this for anyone else interested. There's gonna be a ton of great deals on LEGO Dimensions products on Black Friday in the US, so if you're interested, you should jump on it then.
Funny thing is, I actually found out why they don't rot on TV Tropes a few days ago. It's the high amount of salt combined with the lack of moisture compared to most burgers, not some kind of magical evil corporate artificial-ness or anything like that.
Salt has been used as a natural preservative since ancient times, so it makes sense.
Granted, if you're trying to watch your sodium then it still might seem pretty bad, but the lack of rotting is more mundane than you'd think.
Thought I'd give my two cents on the various topics regarding Generations right now.
First off, to those that didn't like episode 12 of Generations, would you care to explain why? I'm curious since I've been noticing that reactions to the episode were mixed.
Now for my predictions for the Unova episodes:
An episode featuring N and Team Plasma where it will either focus on the Reshiram/Zekrom moment at the end of the story or something that will explore N's past
An episode featuring Ghetsis and Neo-Team Plasma, either focusing on Ghetsis carrying out the attack on Opelucid City, him capturing Kyurem, or a backstory episode where we will see how the Shadow Triad freed Ghetsis between the events of B/W and B2/W2
Either an episode focusing on either Cheren or Hugh (both would be backstory episodes. The Cheren one would focus on how he became a Gym Leader; the Hugh one would probably examine his childhood and how Team Plasma stole his sister's Purloin) or an episode focusing on Alder or Iris (probably exploring them as champions).
As for the Kalos episode predictions:
An episode featuring AZ that will explore more of his backstory, probably adapting some materials about AZ that Junichi Masuda talked about in interviews.
An episode focusing on some Professor Sycamore and Lysandre interaction
An episode focusing on the Looker Bureau where we'll see how Emma met Xerosic, and perhaps some action with Looker confronting the Team Flare scientist.
Moving on, I have some thoughts on the how the future of Pokemon Generations will play out:
Since the series is running until December 23 and the current pattern suggests each region will have 3 episodes, we have at least 6 episodes. I'd thought I'd make a few schedules regarding which episodes do I think will on air on which dates.
Let's start with the most probable schedule, one where the 3rd Kalos episode would be the final episode in the series. This one follows the pattern of 3 episodes per region.
November 18: 1st Unova Episode
November 25: 2nd Unova Episode
December 2: 3rd Unova Episode
December 9: 1st Kalos Episode
December 16: 2nd Kalos Episode
December 23: 3rd Kalos Episode
Here's another but not as likely scenario: The way the first episode could be interpreted is either the first Kanto episode because of the focus on Red or it could be an overall opening episode because it examines all 6 regions. If the latter is assumed, that means Kanto is the only region that didn't get 3 episodes. It's also possible the final episode of Generations could be some sort of "overarching" episode that would take place in multiple regions much like episode 1. If there will be a conclusion of this kind, I can imagine the episode schedule looking similar to the one above, except it could go one of two ways:
One of the Fridays will air two episodes instead of one similar to what happened on September 23, October 7, and October 28.
There will still be one episode per week until December 23 but there will only be two Kalos episodes to make room for the "overarching" conclusion episode (I think Kalos seems like the most reasonable region to have 2 episodes since it is the latest region, while Kanto was the earliest.
Now for the third and least likely scenario: the final episodes of Generations will be devoted to some events from Sun and Moon. I doubt we'll see any Alola episodes because the poster and promotional footage didn't show anything from that region, but if it were to happen, I can see them happening as some kind of surprise, but I feel like Alola would probably receive only 2 episodes (links back to my idea how the first and the latest regions receive only two episodes assuming we were to treat episode 1 as some "overarching" episode). Here's a schedule I've drafted that could fit these potential-but-not-likely Alola episodes:
November 18: 1st and 2nd Unova episodes
November 25: 3rd Unova episode
December 2: 1st Kalos episode
December 9: 2nd and 3rd Kalos episodes
December 16: 1st Alola episode
December 23: 2nd Alola episode
This assumes that we will continue to see two episodes per day on some occasions. My gut instincts tells me that November 18 and December 9 are the two most probable dates for double episodes.
If Alola were to receive some episodes for Generations, I already know three fantastic points of interest they could focus on. However, these ideas I had in mind contain huge story spoilers, so I would only read this next part if you followed the Sun and Moon story leaks. I've enclosed it in spoiler tags as an extra precaution.
1) An episode focusing on Lusamine
In the postgame, it is revealed that Lillie and Gladion's father/Lusamine's husband was the one who discovered the Ultra Beasts and the Ultra Wormholes. He disappeared during an experiment to connect with an Ultra Wormhole, leaving behind a weakened Cosmog and some research on UB-01, Nihilego.
Now, in Pokemon Sun and Moon, we find out that Lusamine has become obsessed with UB-01 and living inside the Ultra Space. She's become so obsessed with them that she becomes very unforgiving towards Gladion and Lillie for taking away Type: Null and Cosmog respectively. It reaches the point that she doesn't treat the two as her own son and daughter anymore, even displaying hostility toward them. Her fall into madness is also reflected in her main office, where she keeps several Pokemon that are cryogenically frozen and refers to these Pokemon as her "babies."
Gladion speculates that part of the reason Lusamine became so obsessed with the Ultra Beasts and the world they come from was because she was desperately trying to find her husband. That seems like a pretty good reason for her to become crazy. Perhaps this obsession reached the point that she started to care less about Lillie and Gladion, which could've led to her children taking action against her. I can imagine that finding the Ultra Beasts and the secrets they have could connect could've given Lusamine a source of comfort in this turbulent time.
That said, I think an episode featuring Lusamine would be fantastic. I can see the episode focusing on what happened shortly after you and Hau first encounter UB-01. We would probably see Lusamine pondering about what she just saw as we see flashbacks to her past. Perhaps we see how she used to be kinder and a loving mother back then, and we would finally see how Lillie and Gladion's dad/Lusamine's husband looked like. In those flashbacks, he'd probably talk about his findings about the Ultra Wormhole to his family, and then we see a few events leading up to his disappearance and what happened following it. It could probably alternate from flashback to the present, where the present would probably show Lusamine grieving over the past.
In those flashbacks where we see Lusamine being a caring mother, there's one scene that could be adapted for the episode. During the later portion of the game where you and Lillie travel on Exeggutor Island to find the Sun/Moon Flute, the two characters hide under a rock when a rainstorm arrives. There, she talks about a time when Lusamine was a loving mother by referencing a memory in her childhood. When Lillie was little, she became enamored with a scene from a movie she just watched, so she wandered out into the rain and started dancing around to mimic that scene. However, she was so excited in doing all of that that she forgot to bring her umbrella and wear a raincoat. Lusamine noticed what was going on and managed to save Lillie in the midst of the rain, and she too didn't wear a raincoat or bring an umbrella. Both caught a cold because of that, and Lusamine shared her bed with Lillie that night. It's a sweet story and one that would look amazing if animated, especially for an episode that examines Lusamine's transformation as a character.
The episode would probably end with Faba (seems like the most logical character to appear here because he's second-in-command of the Aether Foundation) walking in on Lusamine and asking her what's wrong. Lusamine simply wipes her tears and tells him it's nothing.
2) An episode focusing on Lillie and the prologue cutscene in the game
Shortly after you decide on the gender of your player character, we see a prologue cutscene showing Lillie running away from a group of Aether Foundation grunts. As we later find out, she stole Cosmog from the Aether Foundation, and now they are after her. As she is about to be cornered by them, Cosmog teleports her away.
In her diary that we read in the post-game, we gain some backstory about what happened between that event and your first encounter with her. It turns out she contacted Wicke on what to do now that she has no place to go, and Wick suggested she meet with someone named Professor Burnet. Lillie finds Burnet, and she learns Burnet are Kukui are married. The two decide to let Lillie stay at their place in light of what was going on.
A really good Alola Generations episode could focus on that prologue cutscene from Sun and Moon and adapt what was detailed in her diary to give us an overall context of what happened. Perhaps we could even see what led to Lillie stealing Cosmog from her mother.
3) An episode focusing on one of the Kahunas
The Kahunas are active in the story, and I think it'd be interesting to see an episode focusing on one of them. It could examine their backstories, or it could examine their interactions with other characters. With Hala's case, perhaps we can see an episode showing him and Professor Kukui talking with each other about the arrival of the player character.
An episode on Hapu (a.k.a. Mudsdale girl) would be pretty interesting too. She actually has a decent backstory where her grandfather was supposed to be the Kahuna of Poni Island, but he died due to unknown circumstances, so Hapu had to take over. When the player and Lillie first encounter Hapu in Tapu Fini's temple, she is receiving her Z-Stone from the Guardian Deity. I think her episode could examine her traveling through the Poni Canyon to find the temple, and during her journey, we learn more about her journey and her character. The episode would end with her receiving the blessing of Tapu Fini as the player character and Lillie walk in on her.
Since it was brought up earlier, I thought I'd rank the Generations episode from my most favorite to least favorite.
Quite frankly, Grimer and Muk would actually work as a Spatial/ Cosmic/ Alien type, since the PokeDex constantly mentions how it was born from sludge that came into contact with X-Rays from the moon.
I had to dig out the old file on it because I discarded it but kept the folder in case I changed my mind, but here it is; my old Human-Type idea. Its basically what Fairies are today but not as strong.
Please note that while balancing was on the table, the real reason why this typing existed was for the original intended storyline to work, where the idea was that all living creatures are connected, and some Pokemon, like monkeys and some humanoid species, are more human then most, and as son/daughter of the Professor, it was up to you to discover and learn the typing.
Type: Human
Previous Names: Manlike, Anthro, Humanoid
Weaknesses:
When I created the Weakness chart, I looked at past incidents with our kind to determine our weaknesses, and next to each weakness is an example for the choice of that weakness.
Steel (War), Poison (Sickness, which I know is pretty much everyone's weakness IRL but I wanted to buff Poison), Dark (Sin), Bug (Fear, originally Ghost, but Ghost and Dark shared multiple weaknesses)
Resistances:
Dragon, Fighting, Fire, Ghost (switched with Bug)
Attacks Rebranded:
I never got far enough to create a list. But I did create a Signature move for the box legendary:
Humanity Burst
Type: Human
Attack Type: Physical
Base Power: 100
Accuracy: 100
PP: 5
Effect: The user's combines its human power with its Pokémon power to unleash a powerful combination punch. This attack shatters Protect and all barriers, including Substitute and Stat buffs.
Box Art Legendary:
I unfortunantly do not have the drawing concept anymore. That was burned with my old computer. But I still got its stats. Basically, its this Human child who you meet throughout you're journey, but you learn he's actually a Pokémon himself and he challenges you at Victory Road to see if you're a worthy of his companionship like all Pokémon do.
Name: Anthrona
Forme: Humanoid
Type: Human
Ability: Golden Soul: The user takes less damage from attacks that do super-effective damage.
Base Stats: 90/100/85/45/85/100
Name: Anthrona
Forme: Corruption
Item Needed: Family Heirloom - A dark memory of Anthrona's past. Have Anthrona hold this to transform in Corruption Forme.
Type: Human/Dark
Ability: Dark Meltdown: The user takes a small amount of damage every time it attacks. However, it ignores resistances when it attacks.
Base Stats: 105/150/100/15/100/135
The reason why it was scrapped: When Fairy-Type came around, I made the decision to use Fairy instead of this type. I eventually scrapped the box legendary, and nearly everything regarding the storyline as a result.
IMO rebranded Pokémon would be:
Cleffa Clefairy Clefable (Fairy-Cosmic)
Solrock and Lunatone (Rock-Cosmic)
Jirachi (Cosmic-Steel)
Deoxys (Cosmic)
Elgyem and Beheeyem (Cosmic-Psychic)
Minior (Rock-Cosmic)
And maybe the UBs as well.
Rebranded moves would be Cosmic Power, Psycho Boost, Comet Punch, Meteor Mash, and Ancient Power.

When it came to Smash amiibo, Wave 4 was the worst.
And the "restock" for .
Were literally nowhere. was like, 1 per GameStop if that. were in some places, but if you didn't show up before like, 2pm the latest, they were gone. While TRU exclusive, he was okay so long as you went any time that day. Toys R US did well here. was the only true common one.
This just in: Buck declared most annoying character in a pokemon animation since Iris in Black and White.
Also, favorite Generations episodes? Tie between The Vision and The New World.

Yeah I know, but it's pretty funny to think about. When I first heard salt was what they used to keep it from rotting, I was like "Really...That's it?"

If you think that's funny, get a load of some other things I found out on that TV Tropes page.
There's butter from literally thousands of years ago that was buried in peat bogs to preserve it that's still recognizable and may or may not still be edible. Apparently tastes like hard, sour cheese.
And somebody might have gotten edible honey from Egyptian pyramids, because honey has an antiseptic and is so sugary that it sucks out the water in bacteria that try to live in it. Some nasty things like Botulism can stay dormant in it, but a lot of other things get wiped out and nothing can really grow.
The ability for normal food under the right conditions to survive against all odds can be weird sometimes.
