I'm trying to think if there are any rules to legendaries, other than being rare Pokemon.

There's also the 'only one exists'...which is easily broken by the anime...

Also the Arceus event kinda breaks this since you can literally create a new Palkia, Dialga, or Giratina (though it is Arceus and it can pretty do what it wants since its basically god)
I don't think this has been broken in the game's though...

I'm discounting trading for multiples because that's supposedly transdimensional within the game's canon...

Let's get the big one out of the way...LOOKER! :D

Buck was great here. Hotheaded and cocky like in the game. Heatran was great as well. Claydol using its psychic powers to create a path for Buck may have been the second best part of the episode.

I say second best because...**** yeah, Looker took out Charon with a karate chop to the neck! :D The end was nice too.



I did have a small moment of existential dread when Croagunk showed up though...if Looker shows up in Unova or Kalos...and considering they're not afraid to show death here...RIP future Croagunk.

I rate it a "Looker looks older Sinnoh takes place after Johto confirmed"/10

That was Buck. Like Cheryl, Reilly, Marley, and Mira, you guide him somewhere. He has a Claydol in game and you guide him through Stark Mountain.

Buck was one of the partners you got during Sinnoh, like Cheryl who showed up in Eternia Forest (there was also Marlene in Victory Road, I think she'll show up in Shaymin's episode if it gets one).

Buck is the Elite Four's Flint's younger brother...he was one of the companion trainers in Sinnoh who appeared during the Heatran event in the post-game....

I liked the other episodes from the Sinnoh arc better......although "Judo Chop!"

I hope we see more of Cynthia since her role was rather minimal in The New World episode and was hoping for an episode showcasing the Arceus event...

Perhaps an episode focusing on the underwater ruins in Undella Town? Although the way its going we're probably more likely to get one on the Giant's Chasm with Kyurem...

It be pretty nice to get the Looker Bureau, especially since the anime didn't cover it. They could have brought it into the flare arc, that be neat, but the arc was already big as is so they probably avoided it.

So seeing it play out in the great art style of generations would be pretty awesome..

I'm going to predict the Sun and Moon ones. I think we'll get one or two on the games:

The Hau battle at the cermony.

and Either the Aether Island first visit where UB 01 shows up in the trailer, or We get a episode focused on trials.

That episode was one of my least favorites honestly.
Sinnoh's episodes was somewhat of a disappointment for me (Though episode 11 was my favorite episode of the entire series)
I think Johto had the best episodes despite being such a boring region story-wise.
UNOVA NEXT WEEK THO. Unova is my favorite region, I'm hyped

But The Musketeers are the only non-Tao Dragon legendaries I would see them cover. Maybe Victini.

Went to Gamestop to pre-order LEGO Sonic and check up on the NES Mini. As soon as I saw a chair outside that someone had left, I knew what had happened. Sure enough, the employee informed me that they had some people lining up as early as 4:30 this morning with only 6 units in stock. At least I have my LEGO stuff coming in soon.

Based on what happened in the past episodes, I'm pretty sure Reshiram and Zekrom will appear in at least some capacity. All of the cover legendaries have appeared in this miniseries, even Lugia got a cameo in the first episode despite not being plot relevant to Johto's, so I think those two will probably make an appearance regardless of how they handle BW and B2W2's story. It's especially the case since they're pretty ingrained into the story and the motivations of the characters, so them having no role would be hard to write in without changing a lot of events.

As for N, I don't know what they'll do with the character. They could do something with his past or what he did after he left in BW, but looking over the episodes, the only ones that cover someone's past was Silver's, which was a game event that we could experience. On the other hand, they've ignored the opportunity to delve into the past of other characters such as Archie's past with Jirachi, Cyrus' past with his parents, and Zinnia in general. So I think despite the good opportunity to do that for the character, I could see them skip over that and instead focus on a story event. So with that in mind, I think what could be in store for the character would be events like Dragonspiral Tower or N's Castle, or something like the Eusine episode where he talks about the Tao trio's past and how he'll become the hero that one chooses.

As for the protagonists, Nate/Rosa I wouldn't be surprised if they got glossed over. Hilda/Hilbert are much harder to remove or replace for reasons already stated, though they could just focus on N before they come in like what happened with Courtney in the Team Magma episode. B2W2 is probably going to either be the capture of Kyurem or Ghetsis having Kyurem absorb one of the dragons, neither of which requires Nate/Rosa to appear.

As of right now, the only thing that's consistent with Legendaries is that they are one-of-a-kind per game with (typically) some lore and you can't get multiples of each, and even then the former could be broken in Sun/Moon as I haven't delved much into the main game/post-game story spoilers yet.

It seems to me that legendaries tend to adhere to certain 'rules' unless GF wants to advance their story and thus makes them the exception. Lati@s for instance are supposed to be a species together that travel in herds, so it made sense for them to have genders, whereas it's not as important for examples like Lugia or Giratina, so the 'rule' is kept for them. Why this doesn't apply to some examples that could reasonably be gendered, breed, etc., for conceptual reasons and/or contrast with another legendary, I'm not sure, but I guess it could be that they didn't deem it as important, or there's gameplay reasons for why.
