also they need to get Kirbys dream course on VC (unless it already is in which case I need to buy it)
Kirby's Dream Course has been on the VC for four years, already. Excluding the Japanese-only Kirby Super Star Stacker (which is on the Japanese VC), the NA library has all of the NES, SNES and N64 Kirby games on the VC.

I would have loved getting that SNES star stacker on VC.

Makes me mad they didn't. That game is legit.

All aboard the hype train. choo choo.

This gives me a reason to possibly get a 3ds

I never owned a DS :3
Same here, I've never owned any of the newer gen handhelds from Nintendo as well.

That title seems like anybody could have made it, seems horribly generic.

I thought KH's story went down the tubes very early into 2. Not that the original has a great story by any means, but 2 was downright embarassing. I imagine it just got worse and worse. I really play the games for the gameplay anyways.

I just want KH3 dammit.

Going back and playing KH1 reminded me how much I played for the story and how unenjoyable the gameplay is when you really break it down.

Kh1=amazing story, good gameplay.

Kh2=not as good story, much improved gameplay. I'm one of the weirdos that actually liked kh1 gummy ship levels. But in kh2 they kicked it into overdrive and made them starfox like.

I honestly hated the gummy ship stuff.

I'm surprised there has been no KH Fighting game given all these characters you can use. I figure it'd play like Dissidia FF.

Who'd pick those ugly green things?

If you CAN pick races, I'm stuck between the faeries and the demons

Funny you should say that cause Dissidia was apparently going to be a KH game

Anyway so I'm late to the 3DS party but I'm wondering - is it worth getting one?
Just to throw it out there, as pretty as Zelda looks I am sick and tired of playing the same games and StarFox is a huge no no since there's no online play which is absolutely atrocious considering both the game and the day and age of gaming we're in atm

Also doesn't this attachment sort make the 3DS less portable? Even without the attachment the 3DS looks rather bulky for something that's supposed to be handheld :/
And is the battery life really as bad as they say it is?

I don't want to go forking out money for something I probably won't use that much so if anyone could offer me some advice that'd be great :)

You just answered your own question then. Due to lack of new games, the analog attachment, and possibly a revision...it's not worth getting yet.

Though if you will be debating between Vita and 3DS, best to know now that both aren't exactly pocket friendly.

Even with the 3DS lite, I generally had some sort of bag or backpack on me when carrying it. Primarily because I don't wear cargo shorts, and my basketball shorts are used for my smart phone, wallet, and keys. If I'm wearing pants...well the pockets aren't big enough. So yep, backpack is needed.

Personally, I don't think the 3DS is that big...were I not carrying my wallet or keys for whatever reason, I could stick it in my pocket, but that analog attachment just looks annoying to carry around.

Heh yea I sort of figured after browsing through all the games that were out for it atm. Bit disappointing it has to be said

3DS is bulky? Compared to what?
Compared to the DS Lite - I can fit that and my phone in one of my jeans pockets without much hassle and I don't own any of those slim line fancy IPhonethingymajigs (just an oldish Nokia). I guess I've been spoilt from having a small DS for such a long time :p

I was mainly talking about carrying it around with the attachment

Man this 3DS sure is bulky compared to my GameBoy Advance Micro.

They should make it smaller.

Pfft...

I had a gameboy when I was young

You people shouldn't complain about bulk

It also took 4 AA batteries

Perhaps bulky was the wrong word to use (I need to stop posting at 1 in the morning...), should have saved that description for the XL

What I'm trying to say is that I wouldn't mind seeing the 3DS a tad smaller in size but that comes down to my personal preference and it's probably because I'm so used to the DS Lite (although I've no doubt they'll make a 3DS Lite thingy as well). The size certainly isn't something that would put me off buying it but I definitely think I'll wait to see if they redesign it so that it incorporates the 2nd Circle Pad, hopefully they'll move the Power button to the side of the DS and put another Circle pad above or below the XYAB buttons (that'd be great for when they bring out Smash imo)

I certainly don't want the 3DS to be smaller. If it gets any smaller, I'll be cramping up a storm whenever I play.

Might also come down to how many hours one plays on the thing. Personally, I go an hour max per session before I need to take a break. I tend to get headaches if I focus my eyes on small screens for too long. With the 3D effect, it might be quicker.

I was playing Zelda OoT on my friend's 3DS a few days ago. I did end up pressing the power button a few times, but nothing happened? Only worked when I held it down. So not sure if it's that big of a deal.

I haven't really pressed it by accident but maybe once, but they should implement an "are you sure?" menu in a future update.

I got three streetpasses yesterday and they were all female. That's kind of like finding a shiny pidgy.

I pressed it by accident a few times, because all I've had was a DS Lite.

So the mistakes were made. I was especially used to it since before the 3DS, I was playing DQ9 and was always pressing select to bring up my status screen.

I continued to play DQ9 on 3DS and grew accustomed to the new button layout.

I wish I was still playing DQ9, but my unable to get the Kawasaki maps, and having no one to play here, I just lost interest. I almost logged in 200 hours.

I personally want the 3DS to be larger. It feels a little small in my hands...

Oh and I've played like no games that actually used start/select, muscle memory carrying over from older systems makes it work fine (though I have hit the home button going for select once or twice).

DQ9 annoyed me so much because I had to think for a second as to where the select button was -_-

I had my friend try out the 3DS while I was in the ice cavern in OoT and when he went to hand it back to me he hit power instead of pause and turned it off.

I had to do the ice cavern over again. I hate that friggin place!!!
