so if we got a Hayabusa costume it would be “Super Smash Bros. Ultimate x Ryu Hayabusa” instead of “Super Smash Bros. Ultimate x Ninja Gaiden”

As someone who wanted Travis in Smash....

I ain't mad at him getting the Mii Costume treatment. I feel like any acknowledgement in Smash even if it is a mere costume is better than having a character or series go unacknowledged as if they never existed at all.

It is nice that Hudson Soft has such a good Mii Costume. Mario vs. Sonic vs. Pac-Man vs. Mega Man vs. Simon Belmont vs Bomberman is a cool concept, even if the latter's a Mii.

Well, on the bright side, Travis becoming a mii costume basically confirms that M Theory is definitely a thing, seeing how there's nothing adult about "No More Heroes" as a title.

Can't say that I didn't see this coming. When Suda was all "No comment", I figured that it could just as easily be a mii costume or a spirit event. And behold. That does confirm that Suda truly was under a NDA though.

The worst thing that can happen to a character you want isn't them getting Costumed but rather them not appearing in Smash as a Costume or Spirit. Slight bummer he ain't playable but any acknowledgement of his existence is good for me.

One interesting thing to note, is that Gil's costume returned, but fellow Namco character Lloyd did not.

Probably just means he's next, but it is interesting nonetheless.

Well, I knew once the Travis costume was announced that there'd be Fs in the chat. Travis was one of my picks for the potential "Small / Indie character". It's better that he got something rather than nothing at all, but man I'd prefer if he was playable just to see how he'd play. Not the end of the world for me personally, but still.

I'll post my more detailed impressions of Steve soon, but it looks my impressions from Thursday were about par for the course. Didn't expect the Up-B to have amazing horizontal reach but limited vertical.

... so yeah, I think it's safe to say that the "Mii Costume guy" list is pretty bunk right now.

He DID get that Travis was disconfirmed (though I think at this point that it was a lucky guess) and I can guarantee you that right now a certain someone is riding this fact hard... but the big thing that he predicted in regards to a Microsoft character was a Joanna Dark costume, and I certainly didn't see that.

Not to mention that his list is still pretty massive and I'm sure that it was always meant to magically include Spirit events also... but after today's presentation I am personally seeing as the new Loz18.
