I'll be continuously updating this.

I tried playing with the colors on Photoshop to see if they were color adjusted to mess with us even more. For the life of me, couldn't figure it out. Instead I decided to draw the rest out. I will say though, the thing on the leftmost does have a tint of a cooler purple in the darker parts, while everything is more fleshy.

EDIT: So I shrunk one of them, and it almost seems like a red/pink/orange ruffled skirt and a thigh. If not those, it could also be a ruffled sleeve and upper arm. Likely the former given the general theme of that Twitter user lmao. Can't completely say that it's definitely a red skirt due to the very low res, and could be a highlight from the actual rendering. Do we know any video game characters with a ruffled skirt or ruffled sleeve?

EDIT2: Here's another take on the same image. It can also look like an ankle with some sort of black shoes, and still a ruffled dress, albeit longer.

EDIT3: This is so far what I think about this one. Nothing too substantial although I should note Ganondorf and Urbosa both have dark oliveish skin and orange/reddish hair...

EDIT4: I almost thought this part was easily a crop of Banjo's nose. I compared it to both renders of him in Smash, and the spacing between his nose and snout are very different.

I screwed up big time. Did not realize one of the images was a cropped version of another one. I have edited the post. Please disregard the "skirt" theory images that were already quoted/replied to.

There's only 3, you're correct. This was the actual image, not the "skirt". I'll continue to draw out regardless and see if I come up with anything else.

I get why you're confused. The "skirt" was just a crop of that image. There's always been only three images. I just took the images from the later compilation tweet without checking to see all three images posted separately before. Sorry for causing the confusion D:

I don't see the first image anywhere on Hotgirl's twitter page, the only place I see it is in the Tweet of the guy saying it looks like a Samus arm.

That's what I thought too. But that image is the very same one Hotgirl posted before the "soon" picture. The guy who responded to him says "it matches pixel by pixel" but he probably wasn't aware there was a fuller version of that image and just assumed the Samus guy was the one who found the image.

On the other hand, this is arguably one of the few times we escaped our usual discussion cycle in a while.

While there might not be a kill switch, it's still at best a really roundabout way to go about it. Especially when the the image in question looks like cropped adult imagery.

It's very likely a dead end, but if it actually leads somewhere... then I'm not sure what I'll do. Maybe buy a Captain Falcon pillow.

Sadly, I would say it's not that small. If you view the images at their actual size (so they aren't a pixelated mess), you can clearly see one is an open human mouth and another is a human in khakis and possibly a jacket with their hand near their nether region. I don't know what the 3rd one is, very orange.

To be honest, that's the point. I'd say if we reach October, you can't really say it's "soon". And that's assuming this horse**** actually leads somewhere in the first place.

Has anyone tried to see if there's been real leaks posted in YouTube comments. It's probably harder to check that since to my knowledge there's no way of just tracking down YouTube Comments with specific words and such.

However if there is a way, I think that could be useful. Posting stuff in YouTube comments won't get you as much coverage as posting on 4Chan or something like that

Do you guys remember when they showed off the sapling/healing item in the little Wendy's Smash Tour thing and people went nuts thinking it was from Golden Sun? IIRC later people were connecting it with things from the Grinch Leak and getting wild. That was probably the most interesting pre-release speculation days for Smash IMO
