NEW to the kingdom of Ganodorf

Please help. Im quite new but i know a bit of basic tech (wave dashing, L-canceling). I was wondering if anyone could help me with what i need to do and learn to be able to become a good ganon main.

Learn to space your bair fully, not just on your opponent's general hurtbox, but against his attacks. Fully spaced bair beats almost every attack in this game. Bair immediately after jumping and fastfall. It will auto cancel and you can react immediately.

You should also check out the kooky hitboxes of his fair, it's been a while since I checked but depending on your timing you can get a lot of stuff you wouldn't think would hit. Also, the end weak spot of U-air is a great spacing tool using short hops.

Honestly just try him out in friendlies to see if you like him or not. If you feel like you want to spend more time playing this character, I would suggest reading on matchup guides and analyzing your best options in certain situations. Practice the ledge techs and wavelands on your own time, and it will eventually become second nature.
