Well...Medusa and Palutena will be the prominent choices. I figure the other person is going to be similar to Demise in terms of support. Lacking. ALTHOUGH, I haven't seen HOW he plays yet, and I don't know TOO much about his role. I'm assuming it's major, but very "final bossy". Am I right?
StronGAYST vs Strongest who will win?Medusa = playable (luigified Palutena),.Hades = boss in story mode
And NO Shorts, that is my Strongest form.
*cough*PinkiePie*cough*Poor 4th wall has not been this abused since Freakazoid was still on television.
Yes, it clearly wouldn't have to do with the fact that Medusa has been in the original game as well...Well...
Hades becomes the main antagonist a little over 1/3 into the game, and is supposedly the final boss. From what I have seen of him, he is definitely more charismatic and has more of a personality than Medusa. Medusa just seemed kind of dry and not interesting in her dialogue. Hades being the true villain of Uprising and having a much more interesting personality would definitely make him build at least some supporters.
Medusa is still going to have a notable level of support simply due to being female.
That is interesting.Apparently, from someone who owns the game, there is also somein Uprising as well.mind control
Palutena goes crazy and attacks the humans as well. Pit, while controlling Magnus' body has to take down his own body to regain control of it.
And speaking of Magnus...
He apparently comes back AGAIN alongside Gaol to face you in a 2 vs. 1 fight to test your ability.
That is interesting.Hopefully, we will get to see what moves Palutena is capable of.
Medusa was in one other game. She was not in Myths and Monsters. I have already said that Medusa will have the second-most support for a Kid Icarus newcomer, however, I simply don't think she will get in. Her best shot is if Sakurai wants more clone newcomers.I agree with Golden on Medusa. Even though she may not play out a large role in Uprising she still has two other games behind her.
I don't think Myths and Monsters will even be referenced in Uprising.Watch as we find that Orcos andare one and the same. Lol.Hades
That would be dumb of Sakurai. "pouts"I don't think Myths and Monsters will even be referenced in Uprising.
Ohh. One game then.Err, ONE other game behind her, Star.
She wasn't in OM&M.
You know, I could always just remove the spoiler tag... *whistles*Shhh, ChronoBound just gets excited sometimes. :3
It's still all about Palutena and Medusa in regards to Smash playable status.Though I'll concede that Medusa could only come after Palutena. I had to use spoilers so Tryphen will think I'm talking about Uprising, so he won't see me show any weakness.
Seems we both were weak. It's still all about Palutena and Medusa in regards to Smash playable status.Though I'll concede that Medusa could only come after Palutena. I had to use spoilers so Tryphen will think I'm talking about Uprising, so he won't see me show any weakness.
Mountable items would definitely be the way to go. Not sure how they would work. Maybe similar to Wario's Bike, except with different handling? Would the stages be too small though? And then Magnus as an Assist Trophy and.Hades as a boss
I wonder if some of those vehicles in Uprising could become mountable items in Smash.
I am pessimistic that F-Zero will even get a newcomer in Smash 4. Its best chance is if there is another character Sakurai can make the F-Zero newcomer a clone of. F-Zero got less attention in Brawl than every series that was not a Mario spinoff universe or a retro series. I think F-Zero will continue to be ignored due to the fact that there has not been a new game in that series since 2004.@ChronoBound: But you think Black Shadow has a shot.![]()

Could mount a pegasus from Fire Emblem and fly around stage.Riding on a Rambi on Fountain of Dreams doesn't sound terrible to ME.
Pegasus VS Arwing. What about those dragons some characters ride on in Fire Emblem though? Imagine Charizard or Ridley riding one. Just ridiculous.Could mount a pegasus from Fire Emblem and fly around stage.
I agree. A map from Fire Emblem 13 would represent the first trilogy of Fire Emblem games as well as the newest one, especially if it's a location that appears in multiple games of said games (FE 1, 2, 3, 13 [11 & 12 too, but they are remakes]).If Awakening has a really great locale, which I'm sure it will, I'd be down for it. Never know Tri, since this game is in some way affiliated with the first FE trilogy maybe we could see a neo-Dragon's Altar type location. Yeah, overall I'd like one. FE13, from what I can tell, is shaping up to be my favorite Fire Emblem of all time. The more I see from it the more I love. CGI, design, maps, story, music; it's all coming together.
That is... AWESOME!!!That is nothing.
"You know, these Komaytoes sure look a lot like Metroids"
"Don't say that! That game universe has nothing to do with this gaming universe!"
This made me lulz.Poor 4th wall has not been this abused since Freakazoid was still on television.
Yet, surprisingly, in that poll you gave me the link for the one thing I noticed is how highly voted the F-Zero stages and music are, compared to the others. Does that translate to characters? I'm not sure, but F-Zero seemed to still garner a decent amount of support from what I gathered.
I have mentioned before that Black Shadow is basically the choice the Japanese Smash Bros. fanbase has when it comes to a F-Zero newcomer. They actually like Black Shadow over there as a character and not for being a character that could take Ganondorf's Melee/Brawl moveset (most likely due to the anime, and judging by that poll, it seems there are many Japanese Smash fans that watched it, as well as due to being voiced by Norio Wakamoto). I have seen the idea of Black Shadow-dorf suggested though.
This post... is brilliant. While I don't think we will get much more than a short teaser trailer at best, we probably will hear a lot of Smash Bros. at E3 from Nintendo about how awesome said game is gonna be. That's exactly what they did with Brawl, and I expect the same at this E3, albeit 3 times as much, given we're getting 2 new Smash Bros. games.Smash is not the type of game that would just receive throwaway mentions at back to back E3 conferences.
Gryphons? Where? Have I missed something?Pegasus? Pffff. FE13 has Gryphons.
Well I could support a unique Black Shadow. Still would laugh if Black Shadow is unique and Ganondorf is not.I have mentioned before that Black Shadow is basically the choice the Japanese Smash Bros. fanbase has when it comes to a F-Zero newcomer. Pretty much all hype then My fellow smash bros! All they have to say is "Yes, Ridley will be in it this time."
Don't need a name or trailer.
Bowser's an Assist Trophy...An outrage will likely break out if we find out that Ridley isn't playable for Smash 4. So he's typically big, so what, Bowser went through the same process as well, and look at his status.
Donkey Kong is NO Mario spin off...I am pessimistic that F-Zero will even get a newcomer in Smash 4. Its best chance is if there is another character Sakurai can make the F-Zero newcomer a clone of. I was not referring to Donkey Kong.Donkey Kong is NO Mario spin off...
How many times does this has to be repeated?
I agree. I hope Kid Icarus: Uprising is that good. It certainly seems that good.I remember Star saying a while back that Uprising would be this generation's Star Fox 64. When you think about it, that's actually a pretty clever comparision
Hopefully the next Kid Icarus games after Uprising aren't crap like what we've gotten from Star Fox post-Star Fox 64....
Next Kid Icarus-games = Slammed?
Give it a rest. You may not agree, but the truth is, Donkey Kong is part of Mario's world, and vice versa.Donkey Kong is NO Mario spin off...
How many times does this has to be repeated?
Yeah, that song is... well... too Japanese/tbubblegum poppy for me!So, I've just gone through a massive Japanese Super Smash Bros poll and am surprised by some of the things I've learned. Cannot believe the favorite song from Distand Planet is Ai No Uta... SMH
Who doesn't like all those crazy statistics and stuff=???What I did like was seeing a large amount of love for the Melee evaluation screens at the end of matches.
HANDS OFF!!!Falco ain't got Stale Moves. His bread is too fresh.![]()
