I want to play as Toad and Tingle in Smash 4. I want a brand-new Mario character who isn't going to be a clone of an existing Mario character (eg. Dr. Mario, Bowser Jr.). I also want a brand-new Zelda character who isn't going to be a clone of an existing Zelda character (eg. Toon Zelda, Toon Sheik). Seriously, if Toon Sheik is in the game... that will really make me feel furious, outraged, and sick with anger!!!!!!!

I dont see how toon sheik could be in smash 4 if she never existed.

There are characters in the Universe thing that will probably be playable, but one look at that "concept art" should tell you right away that its totally fake.

Anyways, more Kid Icarus spoilers have come up.

Hades is the final boss apparently, Magnus is playable in one chapter where you have to fight Pit and later becomes a boss himself, and Palutena is a boss battle. I still don't think Magnus' role will put him ahead of Palutena, but maybe its enough to put him over Medusa? I guess I'll need to play/see for myself to say anything. Interestingly enough, Thanatos shows up later on, but there's no word of Medusa ever showing up after her bait and switch final boss battle.

Wow, this game just becomes even more confusing.

Hyper Fist. He can also shoot a projectile using his Hyper Finger.

I think it would be best to wait until EVERYTHING is revealed about Kid Icarus Uprising (including any secrets that are included after the game is beaten, as there probably will be like with the Kirby series and Brawl (Jiggz, Tink, and Wolf after the SSE)) before we predict ANYTHING for Smash.

Of all the possible leaked newcomers, I only like King K. Rool, Ridley, Palutena, Little Mac, King Hippo, Mega Man, and Slime. I can live with Ghirahim and Saki... but I don't really agree with Prince Sabure (too obscure even for Japanese gamers), Shulk (too new to be deserving, meaning he didn't earn the honor to be considered a Nintendo All-Star), and Professor Layton. As for Krystal, I am not too excited about the possibility of a third Fox clone. I'd rather have Tingle and Toad instead of Professor Layton and Krystal. That'd make the rest of the leaked newcomers tolerable for me.

Honestly, if it means all of the Forbidden 7 were playable, I'd be all for it. Toon Sheik included.

It would also give the ability to maybe combine both Sheiks for Smash 4, which would help balance, and would allow Impa to also step up to the plate.(well, atleast Tingle has a decent shot for Smash 4. I don't think he's going to get in, though)

Toon Link is clearly better than Link and I love playing as Toon Link more than I do as Link... but I don't need two Links and I don't think Smash 4 needs two Links who are similar. They should just give Link Toon Link's speed, boomerang, and the Air Down+A move and call it a day.

I also think they should just give Mario Dr. Mario's stats and the strength/bounce/speed of the pills to Mario's fireballs. I want the 5th slot open for someone who isn't likely going to be a clone like Toad.

Won't happen. Young Link'll come back instead. Sakurai directly wants to keep two Links in. The veteran(adult) and the true one(child). Remember, regular Link is only sticking around because of veteran status. Sakurai PREFERS Child Link more. Likewise, he considers it traditional for clones to have near identical B moves, especially when they're nearly the same character.

There would be no need for Toon Zelda by your logic. She's a clone too. Phantom Zelda/Tetra or Phantom Zelda/Impa or even Tetra/Impa would actually be unique.

Whether you like it or not, Smash will always have clones. Added later or otherwise. That's just part of any and all fighting games. M.U.G.E.N. isn't fully developed by a full team, but it has the potential to have no clones... but it doesn't anyway.

Apparently it has to do with some Hephaestus type doing something. The boss of the Magnus level is Pit, I guess.


Also, looking at footage of Chapter 5 from the game, and it is trippy as all get out...also very Star Fox-like.

So we get a better top tier(excluding Meta Knight). Sounds good to me. More variance.

Also, doubtful. Toon/Young Link has tons of projectiles. Toon Sheik would have one, and her range would be terrible. I doubt she'd be more than as good as Jigglypuff in Brawl at that point.

Sheik is also decent in Brawl. How do you know Toon Sheik would be better? How do you know she would be a full clone of Sheik? Sakurai may have talked about Toon Link always having the same B moves, but he has not specified that for any other "clone".

So in other words, you're applying stuff that doesn't exist. Explain to me what's wrong with having more character choices at all?

And none of the Pokemon plays like Zelda nor Sheik except for Down+B, correct? That's my point. Toon Zelda/Toon Sheik would have played like regular Zelda/Sheik. I don't need another version of Zelda/Sheik. If someone is gonna use the Zelda/Sheik gimmick, at least make the characters play differently from Zelda and Sheik.

I highly doubt that Toon Shiek would be very good, as judging by TL, Toon Shiek would be a faster, smaller, but less powerful version of Shiek. Considering Shiek has little killing power already, a weaker Shiek would be near useless

Giga Bowser will probably never be a playable character.

He is meant to be very powerful. thats why he is bowser's final smash. Sure, they can weaken him and make him a bit smaller so he could be a playable character, but that would kind of ruin it.
