Except it didn't change what I said. What non-Nintendo systems(besides PC) did they develop for? Answer was none.

Good luck even getting to the GC, knowing how Walmart operates you'll be lucky if the line does not wrap around the store. Plus some of the associates will likely hoard some systems somewhere; even though internal policy forbids it there is always one associate who will do it...

That, and that the upper screen gets scratched to hell by the raised portion of the lower screen sometimes.

I was visiting family in Mansfield, Ohio the Saturday before November 19th, and I was planning on waltzing into Wal-Mart a 11 PMish to snag one. I called ahead to see how many were in stock just for fun at about noon on the 18th, and they had 20 available. There were already 10 people there. I hurried my bottom over and got a little ticket for Number 11. I think the competition in my hometown (little ol' Buckhannon, West Virginia) will be less stiff since nobody here plays videogames except me. Nobody.

As to the 3DS scratches, yeah it's absolutely asinine. I actually sent mine in twice it got so bad. Eventually, they wised up and sent me a Zelda limited edition one with the issue apparently fixed (score!). I still keep a cloth in it sometimes, just in case. I'm kinda OCD about scratches on the screen, so even the tiniest little scrape drove me nuts.

Walmart will usually get a large shipment of consoles about a couple weeks prior to launch. They always store them in large, unassuming PDQ display boxes so as to not reveal the contents of the system. If the Wii U is anything like the 3DS launch than there will likely be an ample amount of systems available. Probably enough to have a display set up, some for the home shelf, and extra in the back. If not it will be the Wii situation all over again. People not getting their Nintendo Wii until years later.

It's funny, because when Nintendo is just now catching up to the 360 and PS3, but when Sony and Microsoft make their next console, Nintendo will be behind again, lol.

I've got an inside source that told me during a meeting at GDC Epic told developers that they will have the Unreal Engine 4 running on Wii U. That is HUGE news for Nintendo. The UE4 is only for next gen consoles and with that it'll cover like 90% of the games. So chances are what ever Sony and Microsoft happen to create, the gap that was the Wii to PS4 won't be nearly as severe.

In my case, it's not so much scratches, but now I realize the NERD GRIME that accumulates on the sides of the lower screen's ridges get rubbed off onto the top screen.

And I know how you feel. I haven't gotten a single StreetPass thing yet. My town only has 1,440 more than yours. I'm fairly certain most of the people in line for the Wii at my Walmart were from out of town, lol.

Also I'm probably the only one who has tried this, but if you copy your 3DS data onto your computer you can technically save the videos you've downloaded off of Nintendo Video to watch later. Currently I have all of the Uprising OVAs saved and have been able to watch them despite the expiration date on a few of them.

Probably a forthcoming updated version/edition of the Unreal Engine, which sounds pretty good to me.

I saved the data to my computer so I can re-upload them onto my 3DS to watch later despite the expiration date on them.

I've looked at the data, and I don't think they're in any readable format (not to mention I can't tell which file belongs to which game), so only the 3DS can read it. So you can't watch those videos on your computer or upload them on youtube.


I may try looking more into this (there's always hope), but I'm off to bed for now. Later.

Capcom has made a Zelda game before.

The actual game is third party. Not the series. It keeps first party elements, but was made strictly by Capcom.

Also, Capcom slightly helped with the Oracle games, but didn't make them either. So those particular ones are 1st Party. However... Minish Cap isn't a 1st Party game, as Capcom explicitly made it.

The ones made strictly by Capcom are. Just like Geno is a third party character, and Super Mario RPG is a third party game, not a first party game. The person who creates it determines what "party" the game itself is.

I just saw a request for Masked Marth in Japan. I am curious though, I wonder if they really will use Masked Marth as the default design for Marth in Smash 4. There is a trend to use the most current design for a character in Smash Bros. (at least for Zelda), however, this Marth could end up being another character pretending to be Marth and is even voiced by a voice actress. Using a new voice for a character after two Smash Bros. games is not unprecedented, seeing as how Link had a new voice in Brawl after having the same voice in Smash 64 and Melee.

Presuming it's Marth in the first place, I doubt they'll use it for anything but an extra costume.

For that matter, they want people to recognize Marth with the first costume, and using a masked version wouldn't help.

geno/mallow were made by square who made the characters and chose to own the rights to geno/mallow.

As an alternate costume it can work. It also is the type of fan service smash bros should be all about if added. Still, people clamoring for it to be Marth's first outfit... are foolish. Maybe it could be an outfit he wears in an early appearance in smash bros, but that's about it.
