Seems pretty fake. I mean something like that would have been announced first before pre-ordering could be made. Plus it probably would just have a logo and not reused art.
To be fair, it's possible that it's an accidental leak.

Indeed, the Pokemon debate is going onwards like that (though unfortunately Zoroark is getting the upper hand). Just add Mewtwo with the first place trophy though in terms of a returning character. :p

In my opinion, I am rather disappointed by the potential Pokemon newcomers. In the past SSB discussions, we had such a large variety of Pokemon newcomers who were all unique and supported by various groups (thus, why it was difficult to predict the Pokemon roster in Brawl and Melee). However, now it seems that everyone is following the trend that the popular human shaped Pokemon will be getting in.

No surprises this time around at all... :(

Judging by that drawing, I would think that Zoroark would have the advantage; both of its offenses are better than Victini's after all.

i like all of the probable pokemon additions, so i won't be disappointed no matter what! that being said, i'm still holding out for the possibility of Genesect... i know it's not likely, but what the hey.

metal: that's one way to settle the debate as to a new F-ZERO addition. "can't decide between goroh or black shadow? then we'll use... NEITHER! have james mccloud instead."

I got some idea for smash 4.

Not a smash expert but I have some ideas for smash 4 that I'd like to see put in...also Melee smoother controls might be nice.(though since it is using a different engine not sure the likelihood of that.) I'd like them to have more hidden moves like using the b specials with other moves like shield, grab, a and directional stick for more combinations. Like iceballs fro Mario, luma spin, and his various jump moves....and the ice beam and spidermorph ball for samus would be neat and double hookshot for link for quick exampls. Also I'd like the character's movesets to be better reflect their games such as Ness and Lucas who only use one of the moves they actually use in game. and I think it can be done too! Also a better stage editter in the vein of little big planet would be cool as well as a better online comparable to Xbox live and PSN. Also I'd like a segment for third party characters like Capcom get's a section, Konami get's a section, etc. Some DLC would be nice though I've ran into quite a few people who will debate this with me. If not smash 4 maybe Project M if they aren't already to busy could implement these. So how would you add/modify/or change things in the smash bros series for smash 4. If you suggest characters could you suggest ones that would add like a new concept or interesting mechanics to the series as oppose to just ones you might like. For examply Neku from The World Ends with you could have a very interesting rythmn moveset and could switch partners as a kind of ice climber/pokemon trainer hybrid. And the Scribblenaut characters specials could be about using different specials to form different parts of a sentence before making it come to life. GET CREATIVE!!!!!

He wants smash4 to be more like melee than brawl but he wants the ATs to be easier to pull off.

Like kuma suggested a few times, he wants moves that are only possible with a combination of inputs that may not be directly stated but instead are for us to find out.
Also I'd like the character's movesets to be better reflect their games such as Ness and Lucas who only use one of the moves they actually use in game. and I think it can be done too!
Everyone's moveset should better reflect their games and more importantly their canon characters.
Also a better stage editter in the vein of little big planet would be cool as well as a better online comparable to Xbox live and PSN.
Better stage builder.

Third parties should get a mode dedicated to their series I think.

DLC should happen and there should be a place where people could request omitted characters for some teams to implement into smash as DLC characters

What evidence do you have to support either way? Besides, who's to say that maybe Sakurai didn't think of some of these ideas during development? IMO, the magic series one is the most likely he would've thought of.

A new Kid Icarus Uprising OVA is up. Its the second part of Pit's story. I liked it more than the previous part. Palutena seems to have a a sense of humor.

Pit: Wow where did you get that information?
Palutena: Thanatos's blog.
Pit: The god of death has a blog?
Palutena: Gotcha.

I had a dream about Smash last night. The adventure mode is going to be extensive and awesome. Spoiler alert! Krom, and Roy are in the game together.

So the cast is not who I thought, but I'm pleasantly surprised.

Palutena's voiced by Ali Hills who does Lightning from FFXIII. Antony Del Rio is actually around my age and it seems he did Chico in MGS Peacewalker. Danny Mann is also a veteran actor, working since the 70's.

I was so certain that Palutena was voiced by Tara Strong, but I've been duped the last few times. I thought Juri was first voiced by Kari Wahlgren; turned out to be Jessica Strauss.

Either way, I have to commend Sakurai and co. for breathing so much life into Palutena.

Wait. Tara Strong doesn't voice Palutena? Pretty much everywhere I check, it says she does.

Oh well...at least she's still funny.

Watch the video at the very end, it shows the casting. I'm still pleased to see that NOA is finally going for the big names.

Seeing this made me wish some other Nintendo characters had this much personality.
Same. I understand the appeal behind leaving the personality to the players, but I feel the industry is growing out of it more and more. Besides, we've seen the dangers of what can happen if the players are allowed to create the personality of a character for so long - that's where 95% of the whining on Samus in Other M came from.

Other characters have some personality, but they need more development. Starfox has the potential so long as we don't get another Command. Mario can kind of stay where it is as the character personalities are explored in the RPGs, but I wouldn't mind if story played more of a role in the Mario games like Rosalina's story. Zelda, IMO, is fine as the character development has been gettting better with each games and Link's environment gives him the personality he needs without talking.

It'd be kind of neat if the individual Pokemon in Smash gained more personality, especially if they reference the anime. I'd like to see Jigglypuff do her famous puff up or Charizard lounging at the victory screen, or Squirtle WEARING HIS SHADES.

Bummer, my 3DS hasn't been updated. Thanks for the spoilers. :p

Still it's surprising to see how much Sakurai has put into the character development of both Pit and Palutena, especially the latter. I can't wait to see how Medusa's OVA will be handled, she's been pretty boring and useless up to this point.

@Kuma: Only the anime? :smirk:

EDIT: Metal's on the right track. Spoon!!! :p

Pokemon... Anime... Pokemon... Anime... How I wish Meowth is playable in Smash with his Team Rocket personality. :(

I think if we were to get a 2nd PT, that it should be either May (so that we get some 3rd gen love in Smash), Giovanni (need I say more?), or Gary (Red's rival, of course and plus, BLASTOISE)

I'd love either Misty or Brock but all the types of their Pokemon are the same so there wouldn't really be much variety at all in their moves (although Starmie would be awesome)

I've probably been playing the original Kid Icarus too much but I just had an idea for Adventure Mode.

What if in each level there was various rooms you can enter in to:

Enemy Rooms: Fight against a large amount of enemies, beat them all and get a reward

Gamble Rooms: Bet coins/stickers in order to get rare items

Shops: Should be obvious, buy items to use (maybe even Pokeballs and ATs), stickers, CDs, etc. Maybe could be run by various possible NPCs such as Toad?, Cranky Kong, Captain Syrup, Impa, Palutena?, Bandana Dee, etc.

Healing Rooms: Duh

Hint Rooms: Duh

Secret Shops: Duh

Of course, something like this could be even more expanded on if customization came into place in some form.
