This I agree with immensely, I'm just looking at it from a realistic perspective. I would not be shocked if a Street Fighter rep were to get in over Mega Man.

It wouldn't make any sense unless Capcom themselves were pushing for Ryu.
(Kinda like in the fashion of how Snake got in).

I'm pretty sure Ryu's fanbase isn't half as big as Megaman's (especially nowdays).

I wouldn't be shocked either, more like "Oh you! Capcom."

And yes, SSBFan, I see you are looking at it realistically, though I have to say, Megaman probably has the upper hand when it come to Capcom inclusion, Ryu stands a decent to moderate chance which us saying alot.

@shinned-echi: True, but I don't think third-party decisions will be entirely on fan demand this time around. If Mega Man gets in, other factors will be considered since he isn't nearly as demanded as Sonic. That said, I will agree that Mega Man is more likely.

Okay, here goes my first promised attempt at a stage concept:

That's right, a Mole Mania stage for none other than Muddy Mole.

Stage Name: Jinbe's Farm
Stage Icon: A cabbage.

Layout:

Basically, it is a simple stage with walk off edges. Overall, the stage would showcase the Wii U's graphical capabilities, as the foliage, trees, and rolling hills in the background would be in an high definition autumnal setting. Based on my poorly shown layout, the top row of underscores are the basic ground of the stage. However, if you break the plots of tilled land (marked as ---s) then an underground path opens up, connecting the two plots.

Jinbe (Marked as J) realizes what happened after a period of time, and comes to the foreground to fix the plots. If you get in his way, you get minor damage from his hoe.

Cabbages, marked as "u", can be hit with a smash attack to uproot them. If you push them underground, they explode, leaving behind a healing item. This is a reference to Mole Mania's gameplay. This angers Jinbe, who comes to the foreground and chases whoever hurt the cabbage with his hoe. If he hits you, you take 20% damage and a bit of knockback. Jinbe can be defeated pretty easily, however. When defeated, he angrily returns to the background and starts to tend to his other crops in the background.

Okami? I would prefer not. The way I see it, we have to pick from the best selling/most popular franchises. From Capcom those are: Street Fighter, Resident Evil, and Megaman.

"Rumble" personally just sounds weak context-wise. I mean, when I hear "Brawl", I think a no-rules, uncontrolled fight. "Rumble" just sounds like name-calling or the antagonism before a fight. It just sound weak, IMO.

At least Rumble would work well as the game's intro: "Super Smash Brothers... RRRUUUMMBBLLLEEE!!!"

Personally, I like Clash or Strife for SSB4, preferably Strife because it adds the idea of how each Smash Bros. name is an evolution of stages in one long fight.

1. Melee - Controlled fight with set rules
2. Brawl: Uncontrolled fight that has lost it's rule and is devolving into chaos
3. Strife: Violent clash to the death - can't quit the fight, can't hide behind any rules

@Opossum: Cool stage concept. Mole Mania has some great music.

@Omega: Universe is OK, although it has a sort of cheesy nature to itself since it would obviously be chosen based on the U in "Wii U". Strife is my preferred name. Rumble, as I said above, sounds weak to me. Clash is OK with me. Royale sounds more like a name for a "Special Edition" of SSB4 than a Smash Bros. name and doesn't have the sort of lasting ring that Strife or Clash would have, IMO.

Anthology refers to a collection of books, which Smash is not.

I don't own MvC3, I just played it for the first time -_- anyways, I gave up on Mincinno and Cincinno. My Pokemon reps are as follows.

I see no reason for the last two, but it would be interesting to play as Hydreigon.
As for the title for SSB, I'd say Super Smash Brothers Hustle, War, or Revolution.

I didn't really like Green Hill Zone in Brawl... I expected to have the two platforms like at the end of GHZ-3. And maybe Eggman dropping in with his ball & chain from time to time.

They are the characters I support, yeah. Well, Fighter Hayabusa is somewhat of a semi-joke (and I'm meh on Miis). But the rest are dead serious choices that I think could work really well.
