*NEW* More Females for Brawl thread Thread

don't forget a alternate female costume for Pokemon Trainer.
Impa is cool, but she is a sheika, she would be the same as sheik (who is a sheika disguise)...wait, now we know how to have sheik-like character as a separate character!!!, without being weird the fact of Sheik and Zelda in the same place; we could just give Zelda a better Down B and have Impa remplace Sheik as another character, she could have the same moveset as Sheik, but oviosly nerfed so she is not broken.
Also back to topic, that would be anopther female, yay! Impa for Brawl!
There is always Daisy, Kristal and that girl Lyn that everyone talks about too. lol

Impa as a replacement for Shiek??? No...Impa looks dumb compared to Shiek...


Sheik is either going to be Zelda's Dowb B or not in at all...

Such animosity, and no real argument. Even though Sakurai stated that he wanted to include more of both.

He has a point, actually. More females and villains would be nice, certainly, simply because they seem to be so scarce, but a character definitely should not get higher priority just because they have, as Conker said, a ****** and/or a desire for world conquest. It's equatable to Affirmative Action (which I'm against, if you couldn't tell).

For example, in my very humble opinion, Krystal should not be in the game if Falco is not. She really just isn't as important as Falco. She shouldn't be given prevalence over Falco just because she's got two X chromosomes. I'm not implying that this is what Krystal supporters are gunning for; I'm just making a point.

The only reason I don't mention Wolf along with Krystal is because he is arguably as important as Falco, in a different way. But Wolf still shouldn't be given any extra importance simply because he opposes Fox.

The fact of the matter is: good characters are usually male (Mario, Link) or non-gender specific (Pikachu, Yoshi). That's not because women aren't good enough, they're just not the target audience for most video games—therefor game heroes tend to be male to appeal to the person at the controller. There just ARE more good male characters than female, unfortunately.

As for villains, as far as I'm concerned, we could easily have just as many of them as we do heroes (or at least close). But we still shouldn't add characters on that merit alone. The "villain issue" is a littler different from the "female issue" in the sense that all (main) villains are going to have a lot of importance to the franchise they spawned from. Not all female characters can boast the same (lookin' at you, Daisy).

WELL to be an optimist, you could add Pikachu, Ivysaur, Squirtle and Charizard to the female list.
And I think Krystal is obviously gunna be in.
And perhaps Dixie Kong (but I doubt it).
