Update (What's been going on, basically drama)

(For those who are interested to know why the Mario community was split and why we've had to go through 3 different Mario Discord to finally get settled. Also he's not dead but you will be missed HeroMystic

Purpose
The purpose of our Discord group is to gather Mario to have friendly matches, discuss Mario's meta game, strengths and weaknesses, and to discuss different match ups. The overall purpose is to socialize and interact with other members while at the same time improving our knowledge on Mario.
Why switch from Skype/Chatzy to Discord?
There are many reasons, the ones that stood out to me are:
Rules
The rules are listed in the #stuff_to_read channel. Please be sure to stay tuned to that channel in case of any changes but here is what the rules currently are:
Discord Rules
In order to keep this Discord a safe place, we ask that you refrain from posting the following items in text channels and not mentioning them in voice channels:
--Racism or sexism in any form, NSFW material, personal information of yours or others, direct insults, excessive character bashing, and spam.
We also ask that you respect/tolerate the following and refrain from joking about when conversing with fellow smashers:
--Race/ethnicity, gender, sexual identity, religion, political beliefs, age, and other attributes/beliefs that people get bullied for.
Belittling, verbally attacking or being overly rude or mean to others in any way, even in retaliation, will not be tolerated. The demeaning of others has no place here in this server and we will not approve of that kind of behavior. Show respect to others even if they do not respect you in return. Enjoy your time here in our server!
