This is seriously the last of my support threads that I'll create in this forum. The reason why I created this is the same reason why someone at IGN created this article.

I decided not to make their moveset, because the game is pretty rare, was released only in Japan for the members of Club Nintendo of Japan, there aren't any good Nintendo DS emulators, and I first heard about them and their appearance about a few hours ago.

Fire Emblem had many games, and a few of which have been localized and have come to the states and europe.

Exclamation warriors however, have had one game. Only available to a club of people. Hardly anybody would own a copy.

There's many Nintendo characters that have way more potential to be unique characters than Stafy who's simply just a small star in a marine platform game where his only attack is spinning and doing some shooting star technique. That's it. He can't punch or kick at all, two moves that is literally required for someone to be playable.

And these guys can't be? Their game was released recently, it would make sense for Nintendo to add them just to simply advertise the game by that logic. I'm not saying they're going to be in at all, I do think that they're going to be left out until maybe a few sequels later. But they do have a lot of potential to be really cool fighters. That's the point of this thread, to see their potential, not to support the idea and try to make a logical reason why they're in Brawl.

When Melee came out there was still a universal cry of "Who are Marth and Roy?" from American audiences, despite the fact that there had been many games.

What's the difference if they've been in a lot of games you've never heard of or one game you've never heard of?

Plus Fire Emblem has the advantage of being much older than these guys (notice the 2007) and what's so wrong with new characters?

Well, considering that Sakurai has put a LOT of interest in retro characters and has talked about how he was interested in Takamaru a lot in the past and both Takamaru and Demurul are in the top fan choices on the list, I'd say they pretty much have a chance. Stafy doesn't. But other than that, shut the f-ck up because you have no idea what you're talking about at all.

They're f-cking henshin heroes, they're superheros with an array of powers and kick *** martial arts (think Power Rangers, obviously). They would be a really cool addition, and would be very familar to children across Japan to play as a henshin hero in Super Smash Bros. Brawl even if they had no idea who they were, the iconic level of them being similar to their favorite Super Sentai heroes would make them want to play as such characters.

They still have a purpose for being in their games. Diddy is a main character, you cant just call him DK's sidekick. Look at Donkey Kong Country. Take out Diddy, and you're changing video game history. Take out Peach from all her games, you're cahnging video game history. Well, the only problem with Stafy is he just isn't the type of character who can fight amongst others in Brawl. I can see Demille and the Exclamation Warriors in easily, but not Stafy. He just doesn't seem the type of character to be able to fight, honestly, compared to many other characters that should be in like Takamaru, Skapon, Ridley, Krystal, etc. I see him more as an assist, or maybe playable in the sequel to Brawl when Sakurai gets all the characters with high potential at being completely original and awesome.

Wait, I don't get you, since when will Smash be overloaded with Japanese only characters? Ridley is most likely going to be in, and so will every other character everyone wants like Krystal, King Dedede, or hell, even Sonic has a very high chance in Brawl despite me destesting it. Brawl is most likely going to have a huge roster with a lot of newcomers, what makes you think that characters like the red Exclamation Warrior, Takamaru, Skapon, or Demille is going to hurt Brawl in any way when it just adds to the experience? And even then, there's still a lot of spots left, there's still going to be a lot of characters from many different series despite Japan Only or not (I highly doubt Sakurai even cares about that).

Popularity doesn't mean anything. I've seen Stafy planning to do some punches in this commercial. Prettymanfairy is correct about Jigglypuff, if she/it didn't appear in a single SSB title, then you probably would of said she/it can't punch either. Look at Pikachu, he can't punch, but he can headbutt. Captain Falcon did fight in the F-ZERO comic found in the back of the SNES F-ZERO instruction manual. If you don't think that's canon, then where the crap did the Falcon Flyer from the Big Blue stage came from? The same comic!

Just because you don't know some of these characters I mentioned, doesn't mean they suck and will 100% not enter SSBB. I'm not saying every lesser-known (but unique) character I mentioned will 100% enter. It's just a bunch of theories. I remember when someone asked me to create a thread that shows a list of characters I support, and when I did it, a moderator or administrator came and locked it. That idea was made before the Character Index thread was made.

Let's stay on topic here, because this is turning into an "Anti-Japan-Only character thread". I bet people in Japan would flip y'all for spreading your jar full of hatred over the unique Japan-Only characters.

So does Stafy! He dashes, spins, and crashes. Being cute doesn't make you any less powerful. I.E. Pikachu.
