Setting you up the bomb.
Is it a crime if want Sablé and/or Richard more than Takamaru (even if just by a little)? I just enjoyed this game a LOT more than I did Nazo no Murasame-jou (a good game for 1986, but it didn't really age well IMO).

You do have to admit that Taka and Suka have more priority.

*Sigh* I wish Sakurai just tried to jam as many series in smash as possible.

Not necessarily... Sablé is actually about as popular a suggestion as Takamaru and Skapon over in Japan, where the opinion really matters concerning characters exclusive to that region. The idea may have not caught on over here, but trust me, it really doesn't matter. The fact of the matter is that Stafy and possibly DeMille have a considerable edge over all three of them.

*bump*

Prince Richard from For the Frog the Bell Tolls was mentioned in the SSBM poll, but Sakurai couldn't add him, because he wasn't as important as Sablé. Also, their frog forms only allowed them to eat insects and talk to real frogs, while their snake forms can only turn some enemies into blocks, as well as haunting frogs away and talking to snakes. They can't use their swords while in any of these forms, which can make their forms pointless if they worked the same way in SSBB. However, Sakurai could make them work in a different way.

Here is a fan-made image of Prince Sablé found HERE:

I agree that Sablé and Richard should be on Brawl. Seems hard, but let's hope they get in.

SSBB might also be good with a character that transforms into animals.
Sthat sounds familiar... (not thinking of Sable or Richard).

Anyway, now that I think about it, I don't like the tag team idea, it would make the Ice Climbers seem less original...
