My Ideas
Pete: Would pick up opponents and attempt to carry them off the top blast line
Tortimer: Would function just like the resetti one in brawl
Duck Flock: Would fly around the stage and damage foes
Black Mage: Uses spells to attack foes
Camus: Uses his lance to attack
Manhole: Acts as a temporary platform
Polar Bear: Moves the stage upwards like in Ice Climber
Souflee: Moves around the stage and whoever defeats it gains a big stat boost for a short time
Eggplant Wizard: turns foes into eggplants
Mr. Shine and Mr. Bright: attacks foes using moves from their original boss fight
Phan Phan: Uses moves from it's original boss fight
Prank: Uses its attacks from Kirby and the Amazing Mirror
Chargin Chuck: Charges at foes
Inky Piranha Plant: Inks the screen like blooper from Mario kart
Moon (Mario Maker): Uses one of the many effects the night theme causes in Mario maker
Fracktail: Goes into the background and charges at opponents from behind
Swooping Snitchbug: Grabs foes and then drops them
Octostriker: launches the ink missiles at foes
Baby Wario: Wanders around and gathers items using his magnet

Like turning the gravity upside down ? Cool effect on FD ... Some effects shouldn't be allowed on some stages, like the upside down gravity effect.

With @Venus of the Desert Bloom 's consent, I open his thread's successor, which will consist on what could be the next characters and Pokémon to be included as Assist Trophies, Poké Ball and, in addition to these, Enemies (Bosses included).

For start, I repost 4 ideas of Assists I had 3 years ago on the previous thread:
DJ Octavio
I think he'd be a good fit as a boss, for one, he is unique as he uses MUSIC to BRAINWASH people and can use a lot of attacks. Also, it would add more representation for the Splatoon series, which would be great.

Assist Trophies
Flayn:
Uses Rescue if you are launched, and uses Fortify to heal you constantly, bit by bit.
Space Invaders: Slowly fall down attacking enemies, getting faster and faster as time goes on.
King Slime: Falls from the sky and slams on enemies, and keeps jumping for a while.
Dreambert: Puts the summoner to sleep and protects and slightly heals them with a shield, and raises their stats when they wake up.

Poké Balls
Corviknight:
Rescues summoners who are launched and reflects projectiles during their rescue.
Galarian Weezing: Neutralizes certain characters' ability with Neutralizing Gas (like Little Mac's Power Meter or Shulk's Monado Arts).
Dragonite: Rams into enemies at high speeds, and then leaves an item for the summoner.
Mareanie: Latches onto enemies and poisons them.

Why does Dragonite leave an item, and where is flayn from?

Been a while since I posted here, so here's some new ones:

Pokeball Pokemon:
Morpeko: 50/50 chance of being Full Belly or Hangry. When summoned, will charge up and shoot towards opponents with Aura Wheel. Full Belly stuns and deals lightning damage while Hangry deals darkness damage.
Golisopod: When summoned, will charge towards an opponent and pummel them using Liquidation. If struck, there's a chance he will counterattack with First Impression.
Duraludon: Duraludon will charge with energy before releasing a Daybreak-style laser in the form of Steel Beam.

Assist Trophies:
Maws (Splatoon 2): Maws will lurk underneath the main platform, waiting for a chance to strike. When a character gets in range, there will be a delay before it lunges out and bites the opponent. Anyone that gets bit will be OHKO'd.
Pearl (Splatoon 2): Pearl will take out her signature Princess Cannon and scream into it, unleashing a Killer Wail-style beam that deals more damage than even the Killer Wail Final Smash.
Ryuji Sakamoto a.k.a. Skull (Persona 5): Ryuji will summon his Persona, Captain Kidd, and attack nearby opponents. Kidd will either ram his boat into the opponent with Swift Strike or buff the opponent with Matarukuja, the latter not stacking. But in even rarer situations, Kidd will blast a Maziodyne out of his cannon on the entire stage, dealing immense damage to everyone.

Android 21: Turns an opponent into food and eats them. Only fully swallows them when their damage is above 85%.

Ryoma: Unleashes Astra and yells “For the glory of Hoshido!”

Bald Bull: Charges at high speed and unleashes mighty punches.

Guardian: Scurries around and fires lasers at the enemy.

Cramorant: Swoops downwards to attack, as if to catch prey. When it does this above water, it spits out it catch at the opponent (same for enemy projectiles).

Mumbo Jumbo: Turns the opponent into either a random animal or a washing machine (the latter of which temporarily immobilizes them).

Bumping this thread:

Mr. X: Walks around and attacks opponents with devastating punches, and is nearly indestructible.

Catherine: Attacks with Thunderbrand, finishing off with Foudroyant.

Susie Haltmann: Spins around in her Robobot suit and occasionally sends out homing bombs.

POW (Metal Slug): Spawns in a random location on the stage when you get them from an Assist Trophy. Attack them to untie them, and then they'll say "Thank you!", pull out a random item from their pants, and run away.

Erik:
Erik will attack with his signature knife. Occasionally, he will cast Rubblerouser on a random opponent, causing them to take damage for attempting to attack, but has a 10 second cooldown. Rubblerouser lingers for 60 seconds before disappearing.

Falinks:
Falinks will let out a roar that motivates themselves with No Retreat, then they charge the nearest opponent and attack with Close Combat.

Grimmsnarl:
Grimmsnarl will reach out for the nearest opponent with its powerful hairs. If it grabs one, he will release a pulse of raw energy through those hairs with Spirit Break, causing them to crumple afterwards.

Boss: Nega-Wisp Armor (Sonic Colors)
Stage: An area resembling Terminal Velocity
The boss uses abilities from its own game, such as shooting lasers and dropping spiked balls. It also gains a few new abilities, such as shooting drills.

Here are some DLC Assist Trophies I wish came with each pack (some of which I’m reworking)

-Jack Frost (SMT/Persona): Runs around shooting ice at enemies, sometimes clinging to upside down surfaces.

-Golem (Dragon Quest): Slowly walks around and chucks boulders at opponents.

-Mumbo Jumbo (Banjo-Kazooie): Casts a spell that randomly transforms the player*.

-Nakoruru (Samurai Shodown): Fights opponents with her dagger and her trusted bird friend, Mamahaha.

-Hanneman (Fire Emblem: Three Houses): Teleports around the stage and casts Sagittae. He takes less damage from projectile attacks and is immune to magic attacks, but is relatively weak to physical attacks.

*The transformations are as follows:

-Giant

-Tiny

-Invincible

-Bunny

-Metal

-Bullet Bill

-Super Leaf

-Superspicy Curry

-Gold

Or he can just turn you into a washing machine, leaving you completely helpless until the transformation wears off in ten seconds or an opponent tosses you off.

New Assist Trophies:
* Insane Cancer (Silent Hill): A slow-moving, heavy-hitting monster that possesses immense super armor and explode should you defeat them.

* Cirno (Touhou Project): Fly around and shoot ice-based Spell Cards. Icicle Fall is a powerful ice attack that has a large gap directly in front of herself. Perfect Freeze is a large burst of energy that covers a good portion of the stage and freezes any incoming projectiles.

New PokeBall Pokemon:
* Urshifu: Comes out as either Single Strike or Rapid Strike form. Single Strike charges with energy and punches the nearest enemy, dealing immense damage and knockback. Rapid Strike has Urshifu move across the stage in a slippery fashion and strikes the first opponent with a barrage of Surging Strikes.

* Galarian Weezing: Release a Strange Steam that deals damage and inverts controls.

* Galarian Stunfisk: A trigger-trap that grabs the first enemy to touch it and continues to damage, functioning almost similarly to the Klaptrap Assist Trophy.

Persona 5 (Akechi/Crow & Robin Hood)
Dragon Quest (Sabrecat)
Banjo & Kazooie (Klungo)
Fatal Fury (Nakoruru & Mamahaha)
Fire Emblem: Three Houses (Lysithea)

Starhammer Man-o-War (this cutie, I don't give damn the game is PC exclusive, it's my favorite of all time https://treasure-planet.fandom.com/wiki/StarHammer )

Flies into a side blast zone ramming everybody unfortunate to be on the way in a way similar to Ganon's Final Smash but without the stun.
Then, on the backgroun, it fires up the Nova Mortar and the projectile basically nukes the stage by spawning 5 smart bombs in an X pattern near the center of the stage.

In honor of Steve making it to Smash:

Wither: Flies around and shoots explosive Wither Skulls that deal damage over time.
Illager Raid: Assist Trophy creates a banner that spawns Illagers and Ravagers of varying kinds in a "raid".
Phantoms: Flies around the stage and attacks the opponent that has survived the longest on their stock.
