Ness vs Game and Watch

Anyone know how the match up is, or what the strength and weaknesses are for Ness?

It's kind of hard for Ness. Most of Ness's move are crouch cancelable and GnW has a powerful crouch cancel game. GnW outranges and out prioritizes Ness most of the time. Grabs help if you can get them but it can be difficult because of Ness's lack of grab range and GnW's massive disjoints.

You have to get inside to utilize Ness's pressure game and gets grabs. Ness also has the better projectiles imo.

I like to imagine that neutral air is my only air move. That sets my mind to a play style that works; it forces me to go much closer than I would otherwise do.
