Need some help for 20XX 4.07++ on nintendont

Whenever I patch a mod into the game, it boots COMPLETELY FINE, then proceeds to crash when selecting a stage.
Example:
I patch magicscrumpy's "Ultimate spacie" mod into my iso, as per his instructions.
I can use the "load character"function fine, but patching in the frame speed modifiers makes the game crash right after selecting a stage.

do custom skins appear on the css?
it didn't for me.

I also tried to patch in the "sonic in melee" mod, also by magicscrumpy.

I'm currently using version 5.481 of nintendont, with memcard emulation ON.
Can someone try doing what i did/ know what's going on?

I wouldn't even think about implementing FSMs in 20XX. 20XX has its own FSM table for SD Remix's FSMs and 20XX uses so much space that the FSM table that Crazy Hand uses is overwriting something important from the codes.

But looking at the tutorial, the guy was also using a 20XX iso.
But it was version 4.05
I'll try that one
