Need help changing character names

I'm trying to mod the US version of Brawl and replace the names that appear on Pictochat, Pokemon Stadium and the records. From what I can tell, the EU version is easy in that regard.
Any chance someone knows where the file is located in the US version? Thanks.

The easiest way to change names is with brawlex/project mex mods.
