ooOOOOO ho ho ho hoo~

Welcome to the support thread for the one and only Great Fairy. These women in the pictures above are incarnations of the Great Fairies, reoccurring characters found in the Zelda series. They're often depicted as very large women and aid Link in his quest.
What would the Great Fairy do?
Seeing as how the Great Fairies usually aid Link, their main gimmick would probably be aiding allies, whether this be by healing and buffing them or debuffing opponents. As such, her talent truly shines in Team Battles, though she can certainly hold her own by herself.
Now onto moveset time~ the basic rundown is that the Great Fairy is as close to a support character you can get in a game like Smash. Her down B summons a small pool of water that heals everyone inside it over a set time, opponents included, which can be disastrous if you don't defend the area well enough; her side B has her lunge forwards to kiss that buffs allies or debuffs enemies, her Up B is a long range teleport that has her scatter into many stray fairies before coming together at the point of reappearance, and her B has her shoot out a red fairy that locks onto opponents and weakly tracks them as it flies along. Her normals have a few references to other Great Fairy abilities, such as her forward smash using the Great Fairy Sword, and she materializes fairy wings for a few attacks cause, y'know, she's a fairy.
Her stats are similar to Rosalina in that she's large and floaty while being slightly heavier and slower.

Jab: two slaps followed by her blowing a gust of fairy wind forwards. The gust has a windbox outside of the hitbox, similar to Palutena's smash attacks.
Ftilt: Turns her back towards the direction of the tilt and materializes fairy wings on her back, fluttering them twice for 2 hits.
Utilt: A small fairy flies upwards and flashes brightly.
Dtilt: (Her crouch animation is her MM animation where her body is horizontal and her hands are crossed underneath her chin) swipes both hands across the ground in front.
Dash: (Her dash is pretty much Palutena's/Rosalina's dash only slower) A headbutt drill spin attack.

Fsmash: Holds her hand high and summons the Great Fairy Sword from Majora's Mask. She then swings it down hard onto the ground in front. Bit laggy but powerful.
Usmash: Brings both hands in then throws them up (you know the BotW Great Fairy freeze frame shot? that pose), creating a splash of water upwards. Creates a rainbow visual effect.
Dsmash: Twirls around gently as a whirlpool appears at her feet before the water bursts out from underneath, blasting opponents away. Peach style Dsmash.

Nair: Twirls in the air as two fairies orbit her. Pretty much Peach's nair but with her hands brought close to her chest.
Fair: Flips forwards and does a sweeping kick downwards. Spike at sweetspot.
Bair: Materialises fairy wings and flutters them behind her twice for 2 hits.
Uair: Jigglypuffs's Uair.
Dair: stall-then-fall dair. She shoots downwards while spinning, knocking opponents away.

Grab: GF attemps to catch the opponent in a bottle. Any opponent actually caught is shrunk down to fit into it.
Pummel: GF shakes the bottle.
Fthrow: Opens the bottle then sweeps it across forward, as the opponent flies out of it.
Bthrow: Sweeps the bottle over her head and down behind her, shooting the opponent backwards.
Uthrow: The bottle twirls around GF just like how a fairy does in the Zelda games before reaching above GF's head, where she then strikes the bottom of the bottle to shoot the opponent out.
Dthrow: GF turns the bottle upside down and shakes it twice, emptying the opponent and whacking them off the ground. Good combo throw.

B: Fairy Target. Autoreticle type attack. A small fairy orbits the head of the nearest opponent to GF as she sends out a larger red fairy that weakly tracks the targeted opponent as it flies along. Moves at the speed of an uncharged Samus neutral B. Pretty weak as a projectile but mostly for some much needed range to keep the opponent at bay during her Fairy Fountain special.

Side B: Fairy Fortification. Command grab type attack that works differently on teammates. GF lunges forwards slightly with her arms out. If an enemy is in range then GF kisses them and knocks them away bumper style. The enemy then has a purple sparkles fall from them to indicate they've been debuffed, making them lighter and easier to knock back. If a teammate is grabbed however, GF kisses them then jumps back herself, buffing them to make them heavier and harder to knock back. The teammate also has white sparkles ascending around them to indicate they've been buffed. Only one person can be buffed or debuffed at a time, so if this special is used on someone else the first person loses the effect immediately.

Up B: Stray Fairy Teleport. GF splits apart into multiple smaller fairies that then reform in the direction chosen. Pretty much Zelda's up B but you can see where you're warping to. Slight hitbox on re-appearance.

Down B: Fairy Fountain. GF creates a glowing pool on the ground beneath her that heals everyone in it for 1% every 2 seconds, regardless if they're friend or foe. Lasts for 20 seconds and heals for 10%. Pressing down B again while in the pool dismisses it, but using it outside the pool as it's still on-stage does nothing. No effect in the air.

Final Smash: Gift of the Fairies. The flower that the BotW GF resides in appears behind the stage and closes up around her and any opponent in range. They're then transported to a place that looks like the forest the first Fairy Fountain in BotW is found. The Fairy Fountain bud then blooms as GF pops out in her original giant size, grabs the opponents, rubs them against her cheek, then submerges just like the level 4 upgrade animation. The camera then zips back to the stage and the opponents are launched away.

Taunt 1: Spins around OoT GF coming-out-of-the-spring style with the iconic laugh.
Taunt 2: Faces the screen and materializes her wings, slowly extending them out.
Taunt 3: Leans back, crosses her legs, rests her chin on one hand while beckoning with her other hands finger (From OoT)

Why would Great Fairy be a fighter?
Honestly, she's not got much going for her, what with her not really being that much of a main character and all that. Her main selling points are: the Great Fairies are reoccurring in the Zelda series, with appearances in most Zelda games; Fairies along with the Great Fairies are a notable and memorable part of the Zelda series (the shrill laugh of the OoT Great Fairies? Iconic), their abilities and looks remain consistent throughout the Zelda series as large women with healing/buffing powers, and just like other famous Zelda characters the Great Fairy is also playable in Hyrule Warriors, though she technically appears as one of Link's weapons she is playable in his place as he's comically trapped in a bottle held by the Great Fairy herself.
