I got INTP.

I'm not exactly sure how accurate that is.

Edit: Actually, after reading about it... Yeah, I guess that's true. It seems right

I got INTP, but I was borderline on the P-J scale as I only got +3.

Interestingly I scored maximum on the intuition scale.

I was also told that most post graduate students become Ns.

I've taken this twice now. Once during highschool, and one more recently around November. Can't remember both results for the life of me.

I agreed with most of it.

Especially "ISFPs may be quite charming and ingratiating on first acquaintance, flowing with compliments which may (or may not) be deserved. On other occasions, the same individual may be aloof and detached."

Mostly Is and Ns so far, with an S here and there.

There's got to be some Es. I know I've seen people here that display Extravert properties.

Keep in mind, one's type may change with age/location/events. I was once an INTJ, I believe, until I decided that being perceiving people was easier than judging them.
I still judge them after my initial perceptions, though :>

INFJ. I don't really know how accurate that description is. There are definitely one or two things about it that I can identify myself with.

I got ESFP.

The test hit the nail on the head in describing my personality/traits.

One or 2 things mentioned were kind of iffy, but since most of it was really accurate I can overlook them.

I got 1 point in the "sensing" category.

I wonder if that is a bad thing?

My results were:

E:22
S:1
F:25
P:33

I took this test recently in one of my classes. I got INTJ aka the Mastermind. It fits me pretty well with being an introverted deep thinker.

This is a good bump.

I used to get INTJ but taking this now I know I def changed on some of the questions, getting me ISTP.
I - 56
S - 1
T - 50
P - 11

A lot is accurate but I don't know if I've done enough things to know if I really do prefer mechanical and physical work. Although it does say they tend to be dormant and then do projects they want to do in a frenzied state which is actually pretty true I think.
Also yes to humor in tense situations, it gets me in trouble.

I've done test before, this time I got ISTJ.
I - 89 % (Last time i got even higher here)
S - 1 % (This one change between S and N each time I do the test)
T - 62 %
J - 78 %
Both ISTJ and INTJ fits me well, with INTJ fitting the most.

Extravert(1%) iNtuitive(25%) Feeling(25%) Perceiving(33)%
  • You have marginal or no preference of Extraversion over Introversion (1%)
  • You have moderate preference of Intuition over Sensing (25%)
  • You have moderate preference of Feeling over Thinking (25%)
  • You have moderate preference of Perceiving over Judging (33%)
I do not really like this test. I believe its a better medium than some other fake personality type things you find around the internet. But, I have taken this same test a variety of times and I keep getting different results each time. There is too much ambiguity in these questions. Plus, there is the possibility for a person to change. A long time ago I explicitly remember having a higher and higher percentage in one category over another. As time went on I am seeing these all sort of meld together to meet in the middle. As evidenced by this 1% of introvert over extrovert. I like my alone time just about as much as I like my group time.

"You like to be engaged in an active and fast-paced job" Take this for example. Do I like fast paced jobs or not? This really depends upon my mood on how I would answer this. Sometimes I enjoy the hyperactivity of a task like playing melee. But, if I compared this to the fast paced job of doing McDonald's during a rush at lunch hour I would say no.

"You are a person somewhat reserved and distant in communication" I'll use the example of a classroom discussion. Some days I feel like I will openly participate in any random conversation and other days I will just shut-up and not participate at all.

As such, I think there shouldn't be much thought into the letters, but rather the percentages. What I mean is that I do not believe you can describe someone's personality in a very concise manner such as these 8 terms of sensing, perceiving, etc. would dictate. Rather you isolate a number of categories, then have finer and finer classifications of these categories. I really am not more extroverted more than introverted. And the rest of the results I swear will vary again as well with more life experiences.

It was quite accurate in it's description. I remember taking the test before, but I don't remember the results.

In response to Xeylode, I did this test as part of an event a few years ago, and how it was explained to me, is that the percentages indicate how much preference you have for extroversion, or intuition or thinking etc rather than giving you a distinct label that you fill in.

Ie. I'm pretty sure I'm an ENFJ. Extraversion in the Myer Briggs (from what I've been told again and what I remember) sort of states that you draw your energy from being around people. A practical example where I can actually see my preference in action, is that for years I was working from home by myself, which was fine, however, now that I'm in an office space with a group of people around me all the time, I find I'm much more switched on and keen to be working. So my living/working preference is to be around people. Employers tend to use this as then they can somewhat evaluate how they can get the best productivity out of the staff, and also try to create an environment where they will enjoy it. etc.

And of course, it will fluctuate with mood, but for the most part you generally have a preference which you will gravitate to 55% of the time or something like that. And again, it depends on the percentages you get. if you're sitting at 90% for extraversion, it's unlikely you'll ever really prefer to be alone. From your percentages you don't swing either way too heavily, so i'm sure you fluctuate between the two regularly.
