My Top 100 Nintendo Music Tracks

To mark this year's 125th anniversary of Nintendo, I present you my new most ambitious project after the one I've mentioned on the second part of my post on this thread : my Top 100 best music from Nintendo games !

Indeed, rather than making another ranking of the most rated games or something, which would be unattractive, a top of the best music tracks is much more attractive, especially when you know the reputation of the care the company gives to its compositions.

A ranking I've already started on a french metascore-website called SensCritique since May 29th, 2015, on which I have spent a considerable time to develop, to make the selection of the hundred games to represent among the thousands that Nintendo has produced, to decide on the choice of the music for each one, which is, of course, anything but objective.

And, as this top is reaching its end by the arrival of its top 10, I've decided to share it on this part of SmashBoards' forums, in order to make its end even bigger.

My set of rules for the selection of music :
- No remix of a theme previously appeared in a game of its series.
- No music from a DLC and a remake/remaster/readaptation.
- No music from franchises not owned by Nintendo, including those it has published only, such as Tetris, Banjo-Kazooie, Baten Kaitos, Professor Layton and Bayonetta.
- Finally, the music tracks having a portion of an old melody are allowed.

And as raising the suspense rocks, and as we also miss Sakurai's "Pics of the Day" era, I'll update the ranking with one track per day, Monday through Saturday, until September 22nd, 2015, the eve of the 126th anniversary of Nintendo which will mark the end of the era of its 125 years.

I would personally change Xenoblade Chronicles X's "Main Theme" to "THEME X"...

I know this is just a personal opinion, so I hope you can make a poll and see if other people agrees or not.

You have Dr. Stewart's Theme and picked the best version of Rainbow Road.

As for what to add, have you heard Magikarp Festival? It might be the most surprising of all jams. The Sushi Striker theme ain't half bad either.
