My sister beat Classic mode as Luigi...

and I turned off the game shortly after without viewing Luigi's Classic mode trophy in the Trophy Gallery. I turned the game back on like a day or so later only for me and my aforementioned sister to find that Luigi's Classic mode trophy was no where to be found. Why did this happen and can this also happen in Melee and Smash 4?
