Not a bad list honestly. However, I'd organize it better with all franchises together and listing which franchise they belong to.

Example:

- Sonic (Sonic)
- Tails (Sonic)
- Knuckles ( Sonic)
- Beat (Jet Set Radio)
- Gum (Jet Set Radio)
- Akira (Virtua Fighter)
- Sarah Bryant (Virtua Fighter)
- Ryo Hazuki (Shenmue)

That'll make it easier to read and figure out who belongs to what.

And p4 protagonist:Yu narukami?
But yeah I pretty much want yu narukami and shadow in smash.

if I was making this roster I'd focus more on console era Sega, as such:

Modern Sonic - semi-clone of Sonic

Eggman - uses modern design, unlike other classic era Sonic characters.
Robotnik - echo of Eggman, based on Eggman's appearance in 90's American promo materials.
Shadow - only added him because I'd be burned at the stake if I didn't.

My choice was to represent as much of SEGA's history as possible. Characters are organized in order of their series' original entry's release date with the exception of the top row (Reserved for SEGA's poster series) and the bottom row (of which include Segata and the second/third party series). The final slot (represented by the "Newcomer" icon) is for a console exclusive guest character. The Switch release would include Link from The Legend of Zelda series, the PS4 version includes Sly from the Sly Cooper series, the Xbox One release includes Master Chief from the Halo series, and the PC release includes the Heavy from Team Fortress 2.

Outside of the Sonic series, Virtua Fighter, Fighting Vipers, Sakura Wars, Yakuza, and Valkyria Chronicles each receive more than one character.
