Other than the lack of Sheik and Mewtwo, I like your roster. I'm glad you included Isaac! Since you're counting Trainer as one character, you might as well consider Samus/Zamus one character too, add Sheik to Zelda, and stick in Mewtwo, and you'll still end up with a great 40-character roster.

Isaac is the lead character in the first Golden Sun game, and Felix is the lead in the second. They're basically clones of each other, so I would bet that only one of them will make it, with Isaac being the more likely of the two.

I agree. It's good and all, but everyone's roster probably lacks the WTF Sakurai will put into the game.

EDIT: And WTF could be a good thing, depends.

mewtwo sucked in melee! he was the worst character in the game. i say lucario should replace him and the pokemon trainer looks awesome too. i hope megaman will be in it and isaac too from golden sun. falco, marth and jigglypuff should be taken out. no clones should be n this game. its a waste of a character roster.

falco, imo should still be in, he has a large fanbase, marth is going to be in, roy is his clone and won't be returning, jigglypuff isn't a clone at all, so i don't know what ur talking about. and mewtwo was good imo, well at least I was good WITH him and lucario is already on my list...

Five Pokemon reps is fine, M2 can be buffed, Falco can be given a new moveset, Marth is original (we need more FE rep than Ike), and Jiggs deserves to come back...

Anyway, the actual list looks pretty good. I'd be pretty darn happy with it overall. Only complaint I'd have personally is the lack of Mega Man.

Yes, because that totally matters for whether or not he should return for Brawl .

Marth and Jigglypuff weren't clones, and Falco is as easy to de-clone as Ganondorf considering all the space-age technology in Star Fox.

No Lucario in my opinion..

You should add Bowser Jr. He's a good candidate for the new Mario newcomer, being the main antagonist in two Mario games (one being Sunshine, which is a favorite of Sakurai's), and also really helping Bowser in Galaxy (actually being a boss multiple times). Not to mention he has a pretty solid fanbase, not a filler character and potential for a good moveset.

I agree with the others: this needs more LOLWTF. You could consider the Mii, Skapon..

I'd add Mega as another third-party, but you already have Geno, so.

Actually, doesn't Geno count as a WTF character? Nobody in Europe knows him, and you really had to have played Super Mario RPG to know him.. I don't think a lot of people outside of Japan know him (except for everybody who goes to SmashBoards, but that's not everybody in the world).

Bowser sucked in Melee too, but he's competitive in Brawl.

Lucario replacing Mewtwo? LoL. Lucario will be in Brawl due to his popularity, I think, but he won't replace Mewtwo. Mewtwo is far more well-known, and he has a unique moveset.
Mewtwo should return.

Marth, the first FE lord; Falco, Fox's sidekick; and Jigglypuff, one of the most well-known pokémons, shouldn't return? LoL.

Pac-Man is a pretty likely character. Certain rosters lack Pac-Man. Unless you are one of those "Pac-Man sucks, make him an AT" people that spam in the Pac-Man support topic.

i origionally WANTED to add ness, but sakurai basically de-confirmed him, which i am upset about, and i didn't put him in so i could avoid flaming, but i will add ness and pac-man, pac-man, no offence, imo is an amazing wtf character! lol XD

Take out Geno and most of your other 3rd party characters.
Just leave Sonic, Snake and Megaman.

I personally believe Ness will be in the game. Sakuri never said he wasn't including clones.
and he specifically mentions that Lucas was very different from Ness.
Also he said "until now Ness was included in the game"
This is a phrase that hes used before, like when he said
"until now there has been a handycap mode in the game."
Its the same sentence of words translated.
The actual translation makes it seem strange. But in the language Sakuri wrote it in
it basically confirms ness.
