I think that if that was the case, there would be a "Discord" icon next to the Facebook & Twitter one inside the footer of Smashboards.com.

It has been brought up, just not implemented in a place of permanence on Smashboards.

The icon/link for Discord can now be found under the Smashboards Logo on the bottom left of the screen.
