my 50 character roster

im still working on the perfect roster that everyone on the forums will love, but it is hard to do that alot. Im trying to make a perfect 40 character one, so I need to narrow it down to 40, by singling out useless characters in my roster (or slightly useless)

you forgot Ness!!!

but if you trying to cut it down, you can remove bowser Jr, cel-shaded link, dark-samus, and wolf as clones

animal crosser, chibi-robo, and cpt. Olimar are not fighters(not gonna mention Ashley as apparently others are already against her here)

No, they would be very unique. I'd like this roster, however it's pretty much a fantasy. Although the AC character is kinda deconfirmed. Same goes for Tom Nook. I can't believe you forgot a Mii!

I think you are asking a bit much for pokemon. Keep in mind that Pokemon trainer is 3 pokemon, not one. With that in mind, your list has seven pokemon. I think there should really be more variety in the final roaster. Other than that, I'd love to play Brawl with the rest of your roaster!

On a side note, you didn't really put any focus on the f-zero franchise. Sakurai even said that he wanted to add more representatives to franchises that only had one representative in the previous smash games. (Mother and f-zero series comes to mind).

I think your roster isn't bad. There's just no need for these threads, since a) they are almost always based on personal opinion, and b) you can NEVER fulfill everyone's personal wishlist, it's impossible.

While I think you did a good job since a lot of the characters you mentioned have a big fanbase, IMO, I wouldn't like K.Rool, Dark Samus and Bowser Jr. in there. I never liked the first one, Dark Samus should not be a representative since the two most important characters in the Metroid franchise are Samus and Ridley, we don't really need another Samus (I smell clone). Although I'd love WW Link to be in, and I know he stands a chance, but I know how hypocrite I'd be, so let's just forget I ever said that ;) Bowser Jr.'s just the same, although I know he'd have his own move set.

And I'm not really for Blaziken AND Lucario. Just one of them is good enough, since otherwise, it would be overkill with the Pokemon franchise if Jigglypuff and Mewtwo both return. And since there are the Poke Balls, I can both see them in, just not both as playable characters.

I also don't know much about Tom Nook and Captain Olimar. I've never played their respective games. But I don't think Tom Nook will be in as it would be rather weird having him on his stage as playable AND in the background. I know it's possible to have him on the stage and be removed from the BG during the match, but I don't think it's a good idea. I won't say anything about Olimar as I REALLY don't have a clue about Pikmin.

But as I already said, it's all IMO, so don't be mad at me. I'm just giving my two cents ;)

Ay. And if that's not possible, (I know there's already an Assist Trophy of a life-sucking Metroid) then AT LEAST Ridley should be one of those glorious cut-scene produced, over-the-top boss battles that appears in the game...

But just to stay with the pattern, Samus shouldn't be the one battling him ;) Mayhaps Captain Falcon and Pikachu.... or Pokemon Trainer and Pit...

if it was just 50 then take out kamek he looks really weak and looks like he wouldnt have any physical attacks

None of those are even clones. Especially not Dark Samus.
Well..maybe Celda Link and Wolf..but not DS.
