I don't believe there will be music banning. What's the point of that?

Oh, I can see it now.

First match: randomly selected "neutral" stage and music.
Second match: loser picks stage, winner picks character, loser picks character and stage music.

And Dragon Roost Island is fine for the stage it plays on.

All right, on all tourneys I will keep whisling any song I hear, just to turn my opponent mad about it.

Also, that music is from a banned stage, isn't it?

That wouldn't make any logical sense to call it a ban, a ban suggest restrict due to gameplay issues which I don't think Music even comes close to that.

Im going with the OPs intent being irony, and as such I would like to add that the star wolf theme is way to awesome and should be banned on account of it's amazingness.

No, it's not from a banned stage. There are no banned stages until real Brawl tournies get up and running.

Great Sea should be banned, though. The pure levels of awesome present in that stage might overwhelm the players. Shame, because other than that it looks perfectly good to me.

Is this a joke topic?

Man, the casuals already think the tourney-goers are boring by banning stages. I'd like to see their reaction the Roost is banned

Agreed! That song is more unbalanced than waveshining on Flat Zone. If it's in the game, Brawl will have less competitive potential than Tic Tac Toe.

Lol, the G&W song is the only song that has a miniscule chance of being banned. And only because the opponent could not tell whether G&W is attacking or if it is just the song. But even then....

The thread starter will probably read over the posts and realize he was terribly misguided. Then, he'll lie and say, "Aw noez, it was just for teh LULZ!"

I, for one, support the thread starter's efforts to create a music ban list for tournaments. We all know that listening to songs such as Gourmet Race or Final Destination may cause those playing to randomly die from an overdose of awesome, and thus in tournaments, where luck and chance are eliminated as much as possible, we cannot risk this happening.

Indeed, Wuzzle. The OP has bravely stood up for true fairness in tournaments, and equality between all players. For an example, listening to jazz makes me go berserk, and so all jazz must be banned to be fair to me. For shame, people! Stop treating this enlightened post as if the OP were high and/or insane! We must ban music in order to be fair to everyone.

But, you know, we cannot all be pleased by the same music. Will we end up banning all music? Probably. It's unhealthy, you know. Music is for scrubs.
