Sonic's best stage?

Well GHZ actually is really good for Sonic, lulz. Run to checkpoint+hyphen smash.

Boxob and some others think Green Greens is Sonic's best stage.

I personally enjoy corneria because of 13% Uthrow+Uair kills at the top of the fin, plus Spin cancels into utilt XD.

I honestly don't think Sonic has a "bad" stage though. Except for perhaps pictochat.

Spring bombing=fun.
Spinshot->Bair=fun.
Hyphen smashing the hell out of the bombs and not getting hurt=fun.
I like this stage a lot now, lol.

yes he does. its Mr. 3000. just search it and u will find stuff. he almost NEVER posts on it AT ALL. Honestly, he learns all his stuff from playing people. he doesnt go to boards and learns stuff.

I would guess that it's because the level isn't evened out. It's like it's always crooked and out of shape, kinda makes it hard for Sonic to run around.

I hate it as well, and I always soft reset Yoshi's Island, and Ban Frigate.

No way lylat is his worst. Pictochat perhaps, and thats not even so bad. Lylat is at worst neutral for Sonic. What does it take away from Sonic? I find the platforms in lylat more usable than those in battlefield, and its not as if Sonic its going to have a problem recovering. On the other hand, it makes his gimping all the easier. And hyphen smash/DAC pwns here. As does uair. Projectiles become even easier to avoid. And yea, I play it all the time, because I CP like everyone with it >_>

Pictochat on the other hand is just, plain annoying. Obstacles popping up outta nowhere, not letting you run or get around well. At least in other stages with weird obstacles, spinshot can help you get around and junk, but here its too hard. It kills Sonics grab game as well.

im pretty sure theres around 34 transformations on that stage, and aside from air dash you didnt say any thing that cant be directly translated to other characters.

X is too aggro and thus, predictable on a dime.
3000's entire game revolves around punishment based on predictability.

X is doomed.

Of course, unless X is able to learn, adapt, and change his playstyle in the middle of the set.
Of course, you'd have to then contribute 3000's ability to switch playstyle as well.

It also depends though on 3000s matchup experience too against other Sonics. I get the feeling X knows more about a Sonic ditto than 3000 does, perhaps just because X comes to the boards and stuff.
