This guy is in the series Australia's got talent which started recently. I need to find a betting agency which will let me put money on him right now. Disregarding the fact hes a shoe-in to win the whole thing... We may go our whole lives without seeing anyone who can do what he does. I know I'll be following his journey though this series and beyond in life.

This guy is awesome, but it's a little over the top to say nobody anywhere can play like that. Plenty of people can play like that. The amazing thing is that apparently he has no traditional musical training and improvised that whole piece.

also lol, did anybody notice those cut-aways to some random fat lady in the audience nodding in approval. those made me lol

Thats exactly the point... There are countless chinese children who could play that song, but how many invent things on the spot?

Its gotta be savantism to some degree, he did things ive never seen and ive watched plenty of incredibly talented piano players, they are all the same, really.

His talent lies not in his ability to play the song, it lies in the fact he made up the song on the stage.

Its both lol.

Also mega sad, because hes so good, the show is going to put him on again like right at the very end so people watch everything in between lol. This means his next performance will either be on the 7th or 14th of June, Australia time.

I wait with pleasure to see what he does next.

I hope for his sake it's a little different, otherwise he might get slated by the judges for doing something very similar.

It doesnt matter what the judges think at this point, its now to public vote

and this guy is an instant win for 3 reasons
1) He's already won all the female votes on account of looking like orlando bloom
2) He's so 100% Australian its not even funny, people will support someone who grew up on a farm
3) He's the very best, like no one ever was

And IF he looks like Orlando Bloom, it's Orlando Monobrow Bad Mustache Bloom.

Musically, I would rather listen to Ron Jenkees 100 times rather than the Chooka song

Technique-wise, Chooka might have Jenkees beat but musically it's just not happening imo

(and Jenkees improvs basically all of his stuff too)

it's kind of weird how much you're on this guy's ****. you come across as a viral advertiser for Austrailia's Got Talent.

Well he just did his next song...

I don't think it was as good as his first in terms of being an actual song, but it was still ridiculous. I couldnt play as fast as he did the intro even if i mashed every key with all my fingers as fast as possible, let alone make a song out of it O_o It will probably be on youtube soon...

No. Jenkees has a much better ear for melody than Chooka has displayed so far. It is also not techno.
Jenkees is trained though, that's the difference.

This guy just like, knows what sounds good.

Jenkees is not THAT great, I've heard all his stuff too.

Ok yeah how the hell did he do that.

I think his 1st performance musically was better, but he showed some character when he front flipped onto stage and played with his foot on the keyboard.

The kid is awesome.

I'd love to see what he could do if he sat down, wrote a piece, then performed it.
