Thread for discussing the many satisfying things to do in a game with Zelda.
For example getting a spike with her down air for the win is a wonderful thing, and getting a snipe with Din's Fire feels awesome.

- Lightning Kick after Dthrow (bonus points for airdodge read)
- Kick finisher even if they're at like 140
- Yolo jumping Farore's to kill off the top at like 20
- Dthrow Elevator
- Dair into anything
- Winning in general
- Stage spike Phantom into footstool
- Breaking a shield
- Probs just me but Dthrow Nair Kick is satisfying for some reason
- Full hop Dair into Falling Nair Elevator is also nice

...this got long.

Landing a dtilt to jump canceled upB elevator.
Stage spiking an opponent trying to recover with a charged phantom thrown towards the bottom of the stage.
Hitting an opponent hanging on the ledge with the tip of the phantom swing.
Dthrow to lightning kick (some zelda users make this look so easy but I have so much trouble)
Getting a jab lock by doing a jab attack into sourspot fair
Landing any followup after a ledge cancel
And something I am still working on, landing a OoS footstool into dair on Mewtwo.

Honestly, when some heaux taunts me if I'm on FG, it's the BEST when I hit with a KO move, and there's enough time before they hit a blastzone (IE LK across stage for the kill) that I can get off a down taunt wave as they fly away and d i e

Ledge release jump into sweetspot lightening kick.
Ledge Trumo into sweet spot lightening kick.
Raw Lightening Kick.
Sharking with an up air when they're waiting to get a 2 frame.
Popping above the ledge with Farora's Wind to smack them.
Farora's Wind straight to them at the start of a match on Battlefield.

When they are too close to the edge.. and landing down air sweet spot, then lightning kick at low percents.
The more lightning kick sounds.. the better. Repeat until their spirit is broken.. then meteor the crap out of them.

Also, double or triple-tap down airs at low percents. It's so dirty, but feels soo good.

Teleporting down from the respawn platform, then abusing the i-frames to have them whiff something, then Elevator them right after

It's pretty funny to me at least

The invincibility period is always when I do the dumb unsafe stuff, or at least try and then fail :secretkpop:

At least I have yet to SD while doing dumb invincible-safe things.

One time on Nairo's stream, I respawned and attempted to ledge cancel immediately upon landing for some reason.

I died.
Not my brightest moment in Smash...

A lot of times, the opponent tries to roll behind you if they shield the teleport near the ledge. I started reading those rolls with a JC upb or fsmash.

*Like Lord Renning a farore's wind straight to them at the start of the match to say hello.
*A "reverse" elevator ( while you are in the air, you KO'ed your opponent who's on the ground)
*One (or Double) whiff Bair then Fair (or Bair)
*kill both villager's balloons with one Dtilt at ledge to make him fall ^^
*Dtilt several times at ledge when your opponents try to recover (i like doing it against Captain Falcon particulary).

*A hard one to do (because of DI and perfect timing) but i really enjoy when your farore's wind reach your opponent while he's falling from the sky.

Minor but when they attempt to edgeguard you but you're Zelda so it don't work and you kick them to their death

This happened recently to me; performing a midair pseudo Elevator when recovering low. It killed super early and was completely accidental, I felt like a god(dess)

This entire video. Specifically the opponent's last stock.
Last Stock Time: 1:10

As for my list of things that I love doing with Zelda...

1. Winning a match
2. Starting with a 30% combo outta D-Throw
3. Watch the enemy trying to run through Phantom
4. Fingerbang kills :GCZ::GCD: + :GCY::GCCU:
5. Ledge cancelling Farore's Wind
6. Getting a kill from ledge-cancelling Farore's Wind
7. Being a stage hazard with Farore's Wind
8. Farore's Wind :GCU::GCB:
9. Letting FG people realize their top-tier lost to a scrub who uses Zelda
10. Waving goodbye after getting a kill

Just a few things :troll:

Winning in general.

Neutral B'ing through everything.

Annoying my friends with Zelda's Neutral B and Dairs.

Showing up to events and picking Zelda. (You play Zelda???!)

It's the little things like that.

I really like teleport canceling into Phantom it's honestly one of the most satisfying things.
