Circuit Points!
We're glad to announce that the Most Angriest Shinobi series will be releasing an official circuit points system! Get out there and earn them points!

These circuit points will be added up from all the Most Angriest Shinobi events starting from February and going all the way until October's finals, featuring a stunning. $2000 Guaranteed pot bonus!


The events will center in Winthrop Harbor, IL (Just north of Chicago), all events outside of Wintrhop Harbor will count for double the circuit points! Events will happen all around the nation, including Texas, Minnesota, California, Florida, and Ohio!


So far there are a minimum of 10 different events that will be added together into circuit points for the series! Stay tuned for further announcements on when those events are!

Current Tournaments in the Circuit:
Events outside of winthrop harbor are worth double points.
Events inside winthrop harbor with a pot bonus are also worth double points.

Circuit Point Distribution
Circuit points will be given for singles in Brawl, and Melee (there will be a list for each). Points will be earned via bracket only, no points will be rewarded for those disqualified in pools.

1st Place: 50 Points
2nd Place: 30 Points
3rd Place: 20 Points
4th Place: 15 Points
5th Place: 12 Points
7th Place: 10 Points
9th Place: 7 Points
13th Place: 5 Points
17th Place: 2 Points
Anything lower: 1 point

These points assume a 32 man bracket, if the need for a larger bracket arises, or the amount of players being eliminated in pools becomes something substantially bigger, the points are subject to being changed.

edit: are melee and brawl points separate with divided pay? the OP makes it sound like they are combined, i hope they aren't.

Sveet: They are indeed separate with divided pay. I'm not seeing where it sounds they'd be combined.

Also yes this series is focused on Singles. Doubles doesn't fit in to the criteria on the series. Since I am focusing on the individual. And not all teams will be the same at all tournaments lol (because not all players will be always available to travel with each other).

Just makes it sound like you get circuit points for brawl singles and circuit points for melee singles, and nowhere does it clarify which the division which makes me think one big pool of points between both games.

When I was test running this circuit point system it seemed to work really well. I test ran it by taking 4 of the MAS/MPS tourneys and putting them all together and I think the results were pretty good.

But I may edit it.

For now, yes, 7th/5th get the same points, and 9th/13th get the same points.
If anything changes, 5th will go to 12 points, and 9th will go to 7 points.
