INTRODUCTION

Hey everyone, I'm Kip, a dedicated Lucas main since 3.0, and welcome to the central location for Project M videos dedicated to 3.6b and 3.6 Lucas. Here, you can find all types of videos to help you study, learn, and improve as a Lucas player. You can submit videos of your tournaments sets, combo videos, informational videos, gfycats, and more. With this thread, I hope to provide a place where many Lucas videos are all in one spot, available to the PM community as well as the public, so that they can share their content here as well as enjoy the content already provided by others. Here, you can view matchups, watch flashy combos, and learn how other Lucas players utilize their tools in ways that you may or may not be taking advantage of.

RULES

This thread is for videos relating to versions 3.6b and 3.6 Project M Lucas, the FINAL version of Project M. Pre-3.6b content will not be added unless it is informational content that can still apply to 3.6. If it does, then it will be put into the 'Misc.' section. Combo videos and whatever weird Lucas videos you come up with will go into the 'Misc.' section as well. Any video involving altered gameplay from 3.6b or 3.6 will NOT be added, as they are not official and are not accepted by the overall community. Videos involving unofficial characters that are not in Project M 3.6b or 3.6 are also not allowed and will not be added. However, videos that have custom music, stages, and costumes are fine in my book.

The same rules from the old thread, created by Master WGS, will apply to this thread as well. You post a video and format it as such:
Player (Lucas) vs. Player (Character): Link to video

This will allow for easier formatting on my part. Like the previous thread, I will organize alphabetically by character, then alphabetically by the Lucas player, and finally alphabetically by the opponent player. Matches of two same players fighting will be in chronological order, with the newer videos over the older ones.

Tournament videos will be underlined. Money matches will be denoted with ($). Netplay and WiFi matches will be denoted with *. Matches that fit multiple categories will get 2 or all 3 of those, depending on what it is.

So I know some of you are probably wondering why I'm making this thread, considering that we've already had an established video thread for the last 2 years. Unfortunately, it just doesn't get updated anymore. I'm not sure if the moderators would agree with me making this (since a 2nd video thread seems redundant), but regardless, I'm going to try it anyway.

I'm pretty sure I won't be dropping this game any time soon, so I have no problem with updating this stuff.
Feel free to criticize or give any feedback on how I could possibly make this thread even better.

I think it's a good idea. The old thread should be un-stickied and replaced with this one. If @

Strong Badam or another moderator could do that for us, it would be appreciated. A new, fresh thread seems best unless there's a way to change thread ownership.

Thanks for supporting the idea! If I could take over the original thread for MWGS then I definitely would just do that instead of making a new thread for the situation, but as long as we can get content updated then it's fine.

Now if only you guys would start posting your videos.

Posted this on reddit but slow thred, gifs from the above friendlies w/ g&w vid I posted

Here's some shield pressure I messed up but still somehow still ended up sort of working recently

Was there a more optimal option I should have taken or was there a better option G&W could have taken to have gotten out of the situation?

In this one I probably should have up-tilted or uaired at the end of the combo instead of magnet to keep it going, since I end up getting punished for the magnet.

It actually kind of looks like you could of poked through the shield with fair after the first magnet. Or even possibly with the ground hitbox with Nair. GnW could basically wd oos/up b in any part of that sequence. I suppose he was just scared/respecting lucas pressure. But good stuff though.

I actually would have probably gone for a grounded magnet/FAir sort of shield pressure instead for shield poking, but when I'm facing right I find it harder to press the stick fast enough, whereas I'm totally fine doing it facing left. I guess I just need to get the muscle memory down.

Me a couple of weeks ago vs the best player in our state, get pretty bodied and wasn't really concentrating. Although I'm happy to say that my L-cancel percentage is now at a pretty consistent 60-80% since I specifically worked on that after watching the vods a few weeks ago.

I forget who mentioned it, but a while back someone was talking about magnet -> DJC lagless land on platforms. Well I found this little gem from one of Hyperflame's recent sets: accidental frame perfect Magnet -> DJC lagless landing Utilt.

Has anyone else noticed that lagless DJ-lands are much easier to do in 3.6? It used to be extremely difficult, but now I can do it with ~60% success when warmed up.

Dair > usmash becomes possible at even higher percents with a platform above you, to name just one minor application.

It looked like Hyper flame was going for mag-uair.
