No the official Nintendo white ones with the 10 foot cords are great. But there are some rip-off/bootleg white ones that were made by taking a regular gcn controller, making a mold from it, and then using really cheap plastic to make similarly shaped copies that suck.

Yes I've seen those. IIRC, another thing to note is they don't have Nintendo gamecube printed on the front :x

No, it's doesn't have "Nintendo" on the front, or the text on the backside of the D-pad and C-stick.

The mold is legit though.

Yea if it says nintendo then you are fine. otherwise, ur better off painting your controller.

Not really a mod, but I opened my controller to clean it. When I put it back together the d-pad was all messed up and hard, so I can't taunt without reopening it again and adjusting the d-pad back into position.
