Would this be legal to use in a tournament? If not, what mods are legal to use in tournaments?

I've cut of the wires to the rumble thing, changed the Lstick to a Cstick and as you can see mixed two different shells.

I don't see anything that would make it illegal, as all those mods are purely cosmetic.
I don't have experience though.
Also, you can turn rumble off...

Haha, whenever i open one of my controllers for maintenance the first thing I always do is throwing out the rumble motor :D
I like the lighter feel and it saves me the bother of disabling rumble :)

Lol that's an awesome idea. I don't think I'm comfortable with opening my controller though.

Do you just prefer the C-stick over the regular joy stick?

Well, I managed and I'm not much of a "craftsperson" myself (the only physical part of my work tends to be putting cables into devices :D). The GCC is literally built in a way that doesn't allow you to screw up, the buttons and PCB only fit in one way. And well, it's super obvious which cables connect the rumble motor to the PCB, which are clearly the ones you can and need to cut in order to take it out.
I'm just too lazy to do it for the sake of turning off rumble (just when I need to get the damn thing working for some more when I'm closing in on the next broken controlstick)... the places where I smash often have rumble off by default after all :D

But yeah, especially the first time it was rather comforting to do the operation at a friend's place who knows how to handle these things ;)

I wanted to try doulbe Cstick. Haven't really played a lot with it yet so I can't really say if I like it more then regular or not.
