End of day 2: PPMD and Mew2King advance from pool A. Mew2King advances over Leffen and Axe despite having the same record due to a better head-to-head. Leffen beat Axe 3-1, Axe beat Mew2King 3-2, and Mew2King beat Leffen 3-1. That extra win that Mew2King had against Axe gave him the edge. Mew2King also had the highest win % of the three at 68% vs. 64%.
In Pool B Armada and Mango advance. Armada dominated his pool and was the only player not to drop a set. Mango stood the best chance against him but in their head to head match up, he suicided his last stock of game 5. The players that advance will play in the winners semi-finals on Sunday and are guaranteed top 6.
