Poker Night at the Inventory was a franchise created by Telltale Games, The premise was playing Poker against 4 characters from wildly different franchises with Wildly different personalities. Eventually you could unlock items in Team Fortress 2

I was looking through past mini creation threads out of curiosity and I discovered this thread. I don’t know how I missed it.

Job #1: Dale Gribble (King of the Hill)

I remember the fun of playing poker against those quirky characters from various franchises. And the added bonus of unlocking items in Team Fortress 2 made it even more exciting!

But the gaming world is always evolving, and it's interesting to consider whether TF2 should be replaced. Change can be a bit scary, but it can also bring new opportunities and adventures. Who knows, maybe there's something equally awesome in the gaming world, or even in unexpected places like Online Casino Malaysia!

Okay, so I'm not 100% sure if this counts, but I think seeing this at all would be fantastic.

Character Name: Eric Andre
Character Origin: The Eric Andre Show (2012-)

An unhinged man kept within the endless purgatory of a seemingly inescapable talk show set. Having lost all semblance of any attempt at trying to maintain his sanity, Eric Andre has gone so far off the deep end that he seems to almost maintain a semblance of sanity before both he and the world around him distend into a bizarre and inexclipable void of logic and reason. If absurdism is a man, Eric Andre is his name.

Jokes aside, I think he'd be a weirdly fitting pick for something like this, given the absurdist nature of his original talk show and the ability to reference a ton of different skits from the show's history, all whilst giving him plenty of fresh material that'd bounce off some perhaps more straight-laced players. I also think it'd be quite funny if, upon losing, he goes berzerk and attempts to destroy the room, after which various sethands reassemble it without incident around them. Oh, and he'd stand out as a live-action inclusion, too!

If we need an explanation as to why he's here, maybe the poker game itself is just an extended skit.

Kazuma Kiryu

Wise enough to offer an interesting perspective on life for the other poker players while probably being a comedic straight man most of the time. Despite this a poker tournament like this totally wouldn’t be out of character for Kiryu and his (or at least the Yakuza series’s) weird side could shine too. Also he does have an official english voice but it would be funny if he was dubbed in Japanese while everyone else spoke English but understood him clearly.

Goro Majima. When a contestant is eliminated, he'll appear out of nowhere near them and to try to escort them out of the table. If Kiryu is eliminated, he say "Kiryu chan~!"

Character Name: Ono Michio
Character Origin: Yakuza 6 (2016)

A mascot character for the city of Onomichi, Ono Michio is a reoccuring side "character" appearing in some of the more modern Like a Dragon games. His eccentric design and personality are supposed to represent different elements of Onomichi, such as the bowl of Onomichi ramen on his head, or his head appearing like a hassaku orange (which are grown locally.)

Whilst it'd certainly be funny to see him wandering around in the background, I also think it'd be pretty funny to have another element here. Ono Michio is less a character and more a reoccuring costume, often with different characters in it (sometimes even Kiryu himself.) So, let's say a certain master of disguise pops out whenever Kiryu happens to perform particularly poorly - with Goro Majima tossing the head aside and screaming "KIRYU-CHAAAANNN!!!" in desperation, before having to go and pick up the head and get back to his routine. Yes, Majima hasn't worn the Ono Michio costume yet, but it'd be pretty funny.

He just feels like he belongs in a place playing poker you know? He’s also an iconic character with a personality that would be similar to Kiryu’s straight man nature only with more of a carefree attitude

Job #003: Whatever the most recent Like a Dragon game is, given it'd make sense what with Kiryu being in this game. As for how exactly this would work, I have no idea, but the idea of the characters in-game wearing silly hats themed on the different characters seems like it could work.

Let's assume the game actually does come back. This would include costumes and cosmetic items, would probably mean we would need to include a WB character on our roster but that seems likely anyway since there's usually an AS character in there.

For future reference (when we submit the second game) The game that receives cosmetics does not have to have a character in the game, Poker Night 2 still had TF2 cosmetics despite not having a TF2 character on the roster. It did have Borderlands 2 items though, So I may still add a job that is submit a game that is represented on the roster, but I will wait for the roster to get more fleshed out before that job.
