The wording is very weird. It's obviously confirmed for it, but it's vague enough to just mean "Yes, it's on the 3DS version" but not to say "It's only on the 3DS version". I think he means the specific features might be exclusive?

Maybe since the site's been re-designed to be more Dojo-like, and we're going to be able to access ALL the newcomer trailers as soon as we get the game according to Sakurai... maybe we're going to start getting weekly/bi-weekly characters until launch? We have what.... 109 days left? That's only 12 or so weeks.

I'm guessing we're going to get a lot of unlockable vets in this game like we did in brawl. Though we'll likely a get a couple more in the 3 months till launch.

I can't honestly say there was any point I was expecting veteran reveals at E3. It kind of seems like the worse possible time. They would get absolutely bowled over by all the E3 stuff Smash 4 or otherwise, not to mention expectations are so high for E3 you can basically do absolutely anything and people will be disappointed and brush it off(as seen with-all the Smash news we've gotten this E3). But if you reveal a veteran in the middle of nowhere in a pic of the day like they did with Ike people go ballistic with excitement. Even the vets revealed in the smash direct didn't get nearly as much love as the ones revealed in a pic of the day, especially poor Yoshi people basically just ignored him. Revealing the vets not at E3 seems like the best way for publicity sake and for fan enjoyment sake.

As for the pic of the day I'm glad they strengthened the glass. I've had some awkward glass breaking moments in Brawl.

This is the final E3 day so we either get mewtwo or ridley today, or we have to wait for like 3 months (september) for a final roster rumor thats real.

Or 2 if you count august direct.

No it hasn't. For whatever reason, the Pyrosphere is surprisingly unavailable in the demos.

We also have reason to believe the roster isn't completely due to various messages and one of Sal's leaks.

Regardless, he's hyping him up as potentially playable but has yet to actually legitimately confirm his role. "Hints" don't count here. He's either playable, not, or both. And we haven't seen him confirm any of those three.

I hope we get Miiverse updates revealing more information on the "map" seen in the game mode portion of the Smash trailer, but I'm guessing that will end being saved for the Direct (or possibly Smash Direct) in August.

I'd predict a move for one of the E3 newcomers tomorrow, and then some of the Pokeballs or ATs found in the demo to be revealed next week.

Expect to see less of them. Why? Because if you look a the trailer after they announced the miss in the digital event, you can see a lot of stuff but it's being teased rather than explained. So, since home run contest got detailed in the potd today, we can expect to see more info. Also, the fact that Palutena has 12 different special attack and that not all are explained, pord again. Add miis move and pacman moves...

There's so much now that I don't expect as much filler as before. Really, you should start to enjoy potd even more.

We got the Amiibo info, and a lot of information about the customization options for the characters.
