Maybe he didn't mention E3 because they have absolutely nothing to announce tomorrow regarding Super Smash Bros. Really!

Well, I honestly wouldn't be that surprised if Smash content isn't featured in the digital event, I mean, isn't it only 30 mins long?
According to NicoNico, but apparently they often list things as 30 minutes as a placeholder.

Easter Egg if Peach turned a bit Pinkish, but I doubt it.

Now it's time for awesome bed for giddy excitment and a suspenseful tomo-today.

GOOD [your_local_time_of_day_is_wished_pleasant], EVERYONE!

I was expecting a picture that would have reminded us about E3 tomorrow. What if Nintendo pulled a fast one on us and didn't announce anything new for E3? Maybe waited a week and then pulled out something?

I wouldn't be surprised.

I think a lot of people would be rightfully pissed, considering they're going to move units by just Smash itself.

That's gotta be one of the most unique stages in Smash history, it even has a point counter up in the corner.

People would be pissed. But Nintendo has been marching to its own drum for a while.

Not to mention Smash news doesn't need that E3 hype. It can make news on its own, without extra support from E3. I wouldn't be totally surprised.

Either the E3 announcement video won't have anything and the section just dedicated to Smash will or Smash maybe absent just to help stick the knife in E3 altogether. Or there's the obvious "You already know what E3 is, I don't have to tell you". Because as much clout as Nintendo Directs do have... they aren't as big as E3; not in the here and now they aren't. Sakurai telling people to watch a Smash specific Direct makes slightly more sense then to watch E3 as in E3 is for everyone. That's one way of thinking about it.

Wow, suddenly this reminded me of the Brawl in the Family strip where Mario collects so many coins he turns into Wario.

Now I wonder what will happen when Wario is in the same position.

This actually seems like a fun idea, instead of scrambling for a smash ball, players scramble for coins to get a powerup. Unlike the Warioware stage from Brawl you know what powerup you're getting.
I'm liking the innovative stages the 3DS has. A randomly generated Tortimer Island and a balloon fight stage that lets you wrap around the screen like in the original game, I wonder how the wii u version will top these.

No mention of E3...
ITS A SECRET TO EVERYBODY

'-'...I am...oddly okay with this. Another damn new Mario stage but that gimmick actually seems amusing as all heck.

Anyways, from the time I'm posting this there's about 10 hours till E3?

This picture was much better than expected. It's a neat stage gimmick, so the stage will probably be fun to play with friends at least. Of course, it also means the flood of Mario stages continues.

Does Nintendo do its E3 broadcast in multiple languages? I didn't think they did, so that might be why Sakurai chose not to mention it in the caption.

Interesting thought, but the PotD only comes in English and Japanese, and they're both getting the direct.
