Miitopia 2: Miilandia (Fan Thread)

"In a deep ocean, a tall mountain, a great forest, their is always a person with a story to tell, these are the Miis, beings of imagination and innocence, I belive your heard of a place where the Miis call home known as Miitopia, well it should be noted that there is another place fellow Miis call home as well, this is Miilandia. Now what stories do these faces tell:"

Miitopia 2: Miilandia is a sequal to Miitopia, it is completely independent to the previous game featuring a new region called Miilandia and a new villain and there monster army. Featuring new jobs personalities and even new gamplay features. With Miitopia fresh off everyone's minds it's the perfect time to create a sequal. And like its orgin game it will feature great creativity. Starting with not one but two jobs to start out:

Job 1: Classic Gameplay or New Gamplay
Would you rather want the old gamplay of the original or something completely different, if so give a brief description of said new gameplay. Can be stuff like a top down moba, a dungeon crawler, and the like, that way we can design the thread around the gameplay.

Job 2: New Villain(s)
Every good story needs a good villain, Miitopia had the Dark Lord, but maybe we can do better, create either an orginal villain that's a successor to the Dark Lord or a completely original villain, describe its motivation abilities and where its face is.

Job 1: Gameplay
Gonna go with the dungeon crawler which would pretty cool, bit like Zelda: A Link to the Past and Enter the Gungeon. Not much about it, but would be fun to roam around.

Job 2: New Villian

Job 1 Gameplay:
The gameplay contains the same battle style as before but the battles are affected by your surrounding and instead of a linear map you travel in an interconnected world.

Job 2 Villain
Arch Alchemist (Enter Name)
"A mad demon from a lost era that mastered the art of alchemy by coverting faces into monsters using arcane rituals and science. It has come to Miilandia to convert the poor face of the Miis into its experiments with a face of his own."

Hmmmm...

I don't really have any good ideas for these jobs in particular, but I'm intrigued. I'll be back for the voting.
That's okay I want to make the gameplay and villain first so that we can build the locations around those elements

We will continue with submissions for the first two jobs, but now for something new:

Job 3 Give a New Job
Quite Simple, create a new job like the cat or tank and give a feel to it in terms of powers and gimmicks.

Ah, here we go!

For Job #3, I suggest Time Traveler.
The Time Traveler uses a Ray Gun as their weapon, which is powerful but can only strike one enemy at a time and has a higher than average chance of missing. Some of their skills include:
  • Pause: temporarily pauses an enemy, keeping them immobilized for a few turns
  • Rewind: can be used to revive an ally or rewind two party members to a time before they fight with each other.
  • Fast Forward: skips an ally ahead to their next turn. Basically the same as Pop Star's Encore.
  • Slow Mo: Reduces an enemy's speed, which doubles the chance for their attacks to miss (ya know, since its easier to see the attack coming when its slow)
As far as costumes go, the Time Traveler should have a wide variety of basic outfits based on different time periods. They could also have costumes that reference various pop culture time travelers like Marty McFly, the Doctor, etc. I'm not sure what kind of amiibo costumes they could use...

Skills
  • Bite: A bite attack, not much
  • Fetch: One of the teammates throws a bone at the enemy causing said Dog user to leap at them
Don't know what other ones would be, but it's fine.

Zookeeper
Zookeepers are a special type of class and act as a sort of gimmick class. They use large nets as weapons.

They dont have any special abilities aside from a single move, "Capture", it uses this move to try and capture one the many enemies in the game, the chance of the capture working will increase depending on the level of the Zookeeper and how much health is left in the subject. After that it gains the monste as a special attack using its signature move against the other enemies, it can hold onto a maximum of 6 monsters and you can collect tougher and rarer monsters by upgrading your net, in fact the legendary net can capture boss enemies.

Since Torgo the Bear Torgo the Bear only voted my entires will win, the game will feature more open levels but similar combat which makes this thread easier to develop. Also the arch alchemist is the main villain.

Job 4 Make a new personality type
Personalities give miis pros and cons, stubborn miis are more powerful but well stubborn, make a new personality for this thread scenario, you can make a maximum of two and give the pros and cons of the personalities

Job 5 Make the first area of the game
As the first area is usually calm and peaceful it should be a quaint starting area, but distinct enough from Greenhorne, describe the enviroment and culture of the area.

Greedy
Greedy is well greedy, they dint like giving items making them unpopular but they are extremely wealthy giving increased loot and has the chance to conserve MP.

Confident
Boastful, they tend to cover this with better attacks and spells, but sometimes they are not impressive causing resentment.

Area 1 Autumn Valley
A autumnal area with gorgeous giant fall trees, the people of this are love there maple syrup and started a factory, the maple river is the runoff of this factory causing some mutations in the local wildlife, this is the main plot of this, trying to find a way to stop the maple syrup pollution while the alchemist experiments with the chemicals

Weeeelllllllllll for job #5 I shall suggest Open Ing Plains
Following on Miitopia's idea of naming the first two locations after their story roles (Easin = Ease in to the game / Neksdor = Next Door country) the first area should be the "Opening." It will be a fairly basic grassland area, similarly to Easin, but this time there is no royal family present to rule it (the royalty, if we have any at all, shall come in later). This area is established as the Alchemist's former homeland, and a group of peaceful alchemists is present in the first town. They are the ones who tell you about the Alchemist and commission you to defeat him.
