Mii Gunner tech thread

Mii gunner is not a very tech-heavy character, compared to others like K.rool's crownslide and Peach/Daisy's turnip lottery. There is some Mii gunner Tech though that will give you a much more pleasurable experience when playing him/her/it.

Gundashing: You might want to learn this one. Essentially giving really good movement with Mii gunner, gundashing is doing a retreating fair so that the momentum of fair boosts you back. Its pretty simple to execute and chain togeather, just flick the stick back short hop and then flick the c-stick. Fastfalling it changes the distance. Also really helps with recovery.

Bomb Sharking: This is a pretty neat thing to do, to cover the lower platforms on battlefield, Smashville, All pokemon stadiums + N's castle, ect. Basically underneath the platform if you input sh bomb drop you place a bomb on the platform but fall back to the bottom stage. Very useful to cover platform landings, and ledge trapping on battlefield. You can also not fastfall and land on the stage with little lag and the bomb next to you.

What other Mii gunner tech do you know?

This may not be so "techy" but with bomb drop and steath burst you can control your fall to avoid edge attacks. Also with reflector and absorbing Vortex.

For more advanced Tech
I only managed to perform ONCE a walljump after a Lunar Launch on the bottom of Final Destination / Battlefield. It was like I was really low and I thought I was dead but I reached the platform and then wall-jumped to return to stage.

Probably every player with wall-jump can do that but I haven't managed to find the exact place / frame where you can walljump.

Walljumping when hanging from edge is also useful but (for me) incredibly difficult.

I just noted that Mii Gunner hast the best wavedashing in the game. I will start practicing to see if I can introduce it in my game play. You can wave-dash and then fsmash.

Its a lame that end lag is bad.

This is the resource information from the Gunner discord.

Active Hop (This is how to do fresh up throw to dj up air at kill percents. We found out that it is a confirm with no DI, and we can still frame trap optimal DI).
