Mii Fighters hitboxes/hurtboxes?

If you change mii's outfits (without altering their size at all) has anyone discovered if it can alter the hurtboxes and/or hitboxes on characters?

For example, if you give a mii a giant hat, does its hurt box increase at all?

Or, when using the Black Knight swordsfighter outfit the sword looks slightly longer (which could be placebo but three people have noticed it now). If it is indeed aesthetically longer, has anyone noticed the hitboxes extends slightly further as well?

No, it doesn't. At all. Top hat has no hitbox.
