Midnight Launch - Your Plans?

I'm getting this baby ASAP. I've requested off work while I was working today. I took the 9th and 10th off. On the 9th, I'll probably be hanging out with a friend, playing Melee to pass the time. Then we'll head out and pick up Brawl at the midnight release.

Once we get Brawl, we'll do co-op SSE and unlock a few characters right away, do a few one on ones, etc. I'll probably end up going to sleep at around 5 AM and waking up at 10 to continue playing.

Yeah, basically you'll be able to get it as soon as it turns 2/10 (midnight). I'm ****ing excited. Just a few more days until we know the entire roster (after the Japanese release that is).

meh i pre-ordered. Since stores get the games before the release date they will probably get on the 7th(lets say) mail it and have it arrive the 10th.

All I have nearby is a Walmart, and they won't take reserves for games, so I'll probably get it at midnight. It's open 24/7 so I'm assuming there will be a midnight launch.

I would never camp out the release of anything, much less a video game. I live in New York City - there are HUNDREDS, if not THOUSANDS, of stores here that sell video games. Hell, I don't even live that far from Fulton Mall, which has a plethora of video game stores. I'm thinking about whether I'll wake up Sunday morning, take the 15 minute subway ride over to Fulton Mall, and buy the game, or just wait until I get out of school on Monday (my school is a five minute walk away from Fulton Mall).

bcuz i've been waiting 6 long got **** years for this game and so i can unlock everything as fast as humanly possible. plus my gamestop is getting it the 7th of feb. so ill definitely have more than enough time to practice for darkNES386 upcoming brawl tourney.

I've had mine pre-ordered since September. Feb. 10th is my birthday, so I'm going sleep in, then just go to the mall as soon as it opens, and spend the rest of the day playing Smash with my friends.

I've been waiting for this game since 2006. I don't think a couple of hours of not having it and a good night's sleep are going to kill me.

But to all you midnighters, I'm sure the fatigue from not having slept will be worth it to play Smash >.>

I would camp out but my parent's won't let me. I want to cancel my cheap preorder and preorder from Gamestop. We have waited for brawl long enough. My game will probably arrive 4 days after the release. Those 4 days will be so painful. As soon as I get it that's all I'll be playing non stop.
