Metroid Prime characters confirmed?

Before I begin, THIS IS NOT A CHARACTER THREAD!! This is only guessing based off of certain recent updates. Since the Metroid Prime series has been confirmed, there's a chance that Dark Samus could be in. But the biggest thing is that both stages revealed are places where Samus encounters Ridley. I was surprised when I saw no one post something like this. so what do you guys think of all this?
This is not my opinion at all, just facts.

You don't exactly encounter Ridley at that location in the Orpheon, but then again the Norfair setting wasn't his exact arena either. If that meant anything, then Sakurai would've used the Artifact Temple instead.

I know it's not exactly her, but it pretty much solidifies the fact she isnt playable....

Um no, that's the Dark Suit, and actual suit that Samus uses in Metroid Prime 2, while fighting Dark Samus in one instance. Play the games, then get back to us.

This may just be me forgetting something because its been a while since i played Prime 1, but are you sure you meet ridley here? this is the room where you fight the parasite queen (obviously) but I dont remember ever running into ridley here. Please refresh my memory.

Ok... I was just pointing out that Dark Samus isn't a color change for Samus, as you so confidently declared.

That was another costume from the first Prime game. And also, in Melee, link had a dark costume and a Shadow Link character (not really, though).
And when I said the locations, I meant Ridley appears within the vicinity.

The "Dark Samus" you are referring to is the her Phazon Suit, as so many people from E for All have reported.

As for saying this confirms Metroid Prime characters, that is "overspeculation" at its finest. Please discuss in the DOJO Updates thread if you are going to at all, because it doesn't need its own thread.
