play level 3 snakes on smashville all day. im serious.
Level 3 Snakes > Wifi!???

Given that you have no competitive friends to play with in real life.

Shadow111 and Affinity: And I'm very sure the newest tornado ALWAYS WINS against the older tornado. It never failed for me, EVER!

1) How does one DI the Tornado? I know this must be an always asked question, but I am not finding anything in the searches.

2) Does using the Dimensional Cape stall method on the edge allow MK invincibility between the time he reappears to grab the edge or is that section still valunurable to attacks during that segment?

3) Is there a location for guranteed follow ups from the Dthrow?

Also, looking for anyone to play on wifi to tell me anything that appears to be wrong with my gameplay using MK. *doubts anyone will reply to this request*

I usually SDI up on the tornado, what I do next depends on what character I'm playing...

I think he is vulnerable for a few frames because of DC's start up but even if he is invulnerable the whole time there is a risk associated with it because you can be edge hogged.

No you can't be edgehogged. If you do it on an angle upwards you can space it so you will land on the stage if they edgehog you.

I'm almost certain there's a few frames of vulerability. I was testing this the other day, but its for a really short period of time.

that still allows them a free hit on you so I don't really see the pragmatic use of it in any case, you can do it some but abusing it is punishable in any case

It's not punishable, it has very little landing lag. Once someone gets on the ledge there's lag before they can get off. The only way you're gonna get edgehogged is if they quickly speed hug the ledge. So they will still be in that lag.

Also, if you think theyre gonna edgehog you you can hold b and you will land on the stage.
what? I thought that holding B makes you do the attack, which significantly decreases your distance. This would make it harder to land on the stage.

Edit: Assuming the wario air releases, Is grab release to Fsmash a combo?

yeah, when you hold B you just land on the stage and do the attack. heaps of lag, but at least you don't get edgehogged.

How do you beat G&W ledge camping? Every time I tried to attack him over the ledge G&W would just use Up-air, or N-air and Up+B to edgehog again. Making it impossible to D-air or Tornado him at the ledge of Yoshi Island brawl, I would just be sent up with the wind...
And he ****ing timed me out from doing that, and to make matters worse, he is newb to the tournament scene.

Then next round I got timed out by a Diddy Kong player, only shooting peanuts and tossing bananas while running away from me the whole match. He camped me so hard, he still had 2 stocks left when time ran out. How the **** does MK deal with that?

for g@W just tornado the edge and hope they jump in to it and try to poke him with your down tilt. dont get to aggressive or he will rack up damage on you real quick with n-airs. wait for an opening and play smart.

you can do 3 things/ grab the ledge real quick , nado over the edge , try to poke him. The G@W match up is my best.

for diddy kong idk what to tell you im still trying to figure it out perfectly one thing i can tell you is do not get frustrated or you will lose badly trust me diddy match up can be frustrating at times.

does any one have advice for CaliburChamp on the diddy matchup?

I beat both the diddy and G&W player in one of the rounds of the set, but they won the set once they started to run away and camp or ledge camp in G&W case. I know how to fight against G&W, Diddy is a bit harder of a match up for me, however I couldnt deal with the G&W ledge camping, I never seen a G&W player ledge camp like a pro before. There's alot of camping against MK in FL since everyone hates you for using him.

than ledge camp them.

for g@w just F-tilt and up-b his b-air. if they full hop b-air predict it and f-air where he is going to jump or just up-b him.

The only time this match up is hard is if the person your fighting has better mindgames cuz they will be able to mix up their movements and not just B-air you the whole time. and dont forget let G@W attack you first every time and react to their option unlesss you know 100% you can hit them if you go in for a attack first. MK is like a perfect wall in this matchup

does any one have advice on the diddy matchup for him?

O and one more thing he might be a noob and scared to get back on if your puting on too much pressure just back away for the ledge and maybe he will get back on.

How do I DI out of Ness' Pee-gay fire? I get chained with it letting Ness get a free 80 or so percent.

Tap Jump On makes it easier to do uair strings since you can just hold up and press A instead of jumping then using up+A really quickly afterwards.

I like how all the brawl scrubs turn tap jump off lol. Somtimes i do a extra jump when i recover from down low to the ledge because tap jump is on and that get anoying sometimes. But yeah keep tap jump on.

Hey do you guys have advice for CaliburChamp on the diddy matchup?

A mod told me to post this here, so I'm posting it here:

So, I play Ike, but a fairly competent Ike, not one of those f-smashy Ikes. I do a lot of Nair -> jab -> grab and RAR'ed bair stuff, and I pretty much know what I'm doing. I'm not pro or anything, but I've beaten competitive ROBs at my locals and whatnot. Anyway, I have serious issues with metaknight. All his moves come out faster than my jab and he darts in and out of my range like nobody's business. So who should I secondary simply to counterpick Metaknight?

It doesn't seem like Falco would be a better counterpick than just playing a ditto, though, since he's kind of lacking in fast kill moves and his grab range isn't the best.
