Lol tw1n. timeshares, yes. carnivorous earwigs aren't allowed, However; I saw wrath of Khan.

P.s. mad agree: its freakin melee. Just a plain great game.

A favorite moment if I may: fox v fox corneria. I'm up 2 stock, my friend is fox firing up to the front of great fox from directly below, I drop my edgehog and as he's coming up, phantom/illusion to the guns and meteor him down. xD

Nah that's just the cancer spreading and melee killing it, but brawl can give you a tumor. Idk what it feels like if i try to play it.

Lol 20/20 is awesome.

But ya. Staring at the TV for too long can damage your eyes. You are supposed to take a 15 minute break every hour (ya right....)

Ill take my chances with melee all day.

For awhile, I got into a bad habit of squinting. It made things clearer, but I could see them to begin with lol. I had to like practice not squinting and constantly remind myself not to do it.

SWF is what gives me MASSIVE eye strain lol. Boards all day haha

So there's this guy I've known since middle school. I used to hang out with him a bit before we went to high school. We ended up going to different high schools, which was a good thing because I started to notice he was a real jerk. My main issue with him is that he steals things by trying to act as if he doesn't remembering borrowing something or trying to make you believe he returned something when he didn't. He's a pretty good manipulator and it really makes me upset. A while ago I let him borrow almost all of my Magic cards (I didn't have many, but I spent about 80 dollars getting them all) because we hung out a bit and he seemed like he was quite the different person, like he had stopped most of his former behavior. I didn't end up seeing him for a few months, but when I tried contacting him about the cards I got no response. Then a couple days ago he showed up at my house. We played some yugioh and magic for a bit and I noticed he brought the box that I kept the magic cards in. I didn't say anything about the box, but I asked if he had brought my magic cards back and he gave me a puzzled look and said he had no idea what I was talking about, then said that the box he had was the one he bought on his own and not mine (never said a word about the box or even looked at it while talking to him about the cards). He opened the box to see if any of my cards were in there and showed me, saying all the ones in here were ones he bought with the box or traded for... not a single card was from any of the sets that came in that box. So I told him he could just give me 15 dollars for them if he didn't find them and he could buy my deck off me for 5 or 10 if he was interested, tried to act like I wasn't upset about it, and he started to get up really fast and head out as quick as possible. I'm supposed to move across the country in June and need any extra money I can get and planned on selling the cards. And this guy, who is supposed to be my friend and is always saying how good of a friend I am to him, steals my stuff - knowing I'm moving away soon and am really scrambling to collect money - then won't even give me 15 dollars for them. He told me he'd text me when he got home after he looked for the cards, but I hadn't got a text or call from him, so I text him yesterday and he said he hasn't been looked yet and will tell me later on that night. Well it's now early morning the next day and I haven't heard a word. Sorry for the long rant, but I just wanted to share my frustration with people like him.

Yea dude that really really blows. I hate ppl like that. The worst non violent crime in my eyes is stealing. Idk logically vandalism is much worse but stealing irritates me the most.

LOL@ not knowing anything about the cards....but then going to look for them. I wouldnt look for something that I "know" I didnt have. what a noob. Tell his parents or something...maybe ull at least get ur 15$(beat his ***?)

I lost the 3rd season of family guy DVD and the original first season of heroes DVD set to this stuff. Both to family members. My friends are good about returning stuff.

He's the same age as me (20) and his mom is really protective of him and to me she seems really crazy when I'm around her. I think she'd try to do something crazy if I were to bring it up lol. I'm just hoping he gives me 15 dollars for them, even if he doesn't come clean about what he did with them. My gut feeling is that he took the cards to the swap shop downtown that he goes to a lot and sold them for a few dollars so he could buy his pot. I had another friend like this who took my N64 and left it at his girlfriends house with all my games and controller and then would respond to me for weeks. Then when he did answer his phone he said he was living somewhere else and that he won't go back to his girlfriend's because it makes him too upset. I asked him where she lived and he said in a pink house on sunset... there's probably like 20 or more houses that are pink or have prominent pink features on them on that road. Eventually I had to call his dad to get the girls number so she could give it to me. I actually have a list of people who are borrowing all my things that I keep in my wallet.

In other news, right now I'm having a big big issue finding an extra job (I only get a couple hours at my job right now) for the rest of this month and may before I move in June. I have to get money. I'm really hoping I can find a couple solid jobs out in California when I move in June. I'm gonna try calling places this week out there and see if any of them can hold a position for me.

Well I just got a few more responses from him. He said that he wouldn't cheat me out of my cards and that he's sorry I lost them in my house. I told him I would like him to give me 15 dollars in the next couple days because the cards were never returned to me. His response was "lolz". I'm wondering if I should just go to his house and confront him about it. However I don't know if he'll answer or who else will be there. Or do I just let it be and don't bother with him anymore since I'm moving and won't see him again? Advice? I'm pretty upset now.

Edit: Just stopped by the swap shop to let them know if he comes in with any cards that they could be mine and to give me a call. He texted me a few more times and basically said he's not giving me any money and to have a good day. Now I'm wondering if the things that my other friends have been borrowing will be returned to me as well.

Do you still have the receipts for those cards?
you probably don't because who the hell keeps those? :(
Heh I lost my street of rage 2 and Wonder boy in monster world genesis cartridge because of people like that, way earlier in my life. =P
But when you got older, you got back to them and punched them in the face like a true warrior :glare:

That sucks bro. People like that need to get their ***** kicked. A friend of mine lent this guy a PS2. After nearly 6 months of asking for it back, he found out that the guy sold it after having it for a week.

Unfortunately I don't have the receipts. I bought them in like August or September, so it was a while back when I originally purchased them.

I'm trying to get my manga collection sold off right now, so hopefully I can get some money that way. I got a call from target earlier after I applied earlier this morning. The lady said she'd call me back sometime. Hopefully I get the call tonight or tomorrow for an interview.

IMO, he deserves to be bothered. Id at least take it up with his mom, its worth a try.

But I will say, after all of this....let this be a life lesson...dont loan your things out. You by things for yourself, not for other ppl to use. I know ur prob a nice guy and like to share but it really really sucks how ppl are in this world.

So I got a very similar story involving my brother. So my brother is fairly naive. He is 21 and his best friend is ummm well call him guy. My brother lent him 2 Xbox 360 games and a blow comb(?). Its a blow dryer with a comb on the tip. A month goes by and the games hadnt been returned. My brother had been calling and calling and everytime Guy said "ah, I dont have any gas", "I gotta go pick up my mom" just excuse after excuse. This is aside from the fact that he had still come over to the house to visit but of course failed to bring the games.

Just last week my brother got pissed. He called and told Guy that he wasnt playing anymore and he wanted his **** right the **** now! First Guy said he didnt have gas etc etc....but this time that wasnt gonna fly. He said he would bring the blowcomb over, and he did.

But as far as the Xbox games lmao. He said that the 360 ate them aka "they exploded in the system". He said he would replace them. I heard that story and thought, sounds reasonable...Ive heard it happen b4.

But I was still suspicious. I told my brother to call and ask for the case back, I suspected that he wouldnt have the SF4 case. Guy, said that he threw it away...understandable imo. So I had my brother call again and ask for the 2nd game which was NBA live.

LMAO the story immediately changed from the system ate the disk to "My Xbox exploded" >_<, I of course bust out laughing at how ridiculous that **** was. Guy said fire all the way to the ceiling, and it blew up all the things around it, aka the other game and his cell phone. but for some reason he has the same cell phone.

What I think happened....he prob took em to gamestop and traded em for like 20-30$, and then was planning on paying my brother back when he got the money.

I called him today and he still doesnt have a complete story. Such as how he could buy a new phone while not having money...assumed since he hadnt replaced the games yet...he claimed insurance, I said what about the $50 deductible?

PPl greaze, cant trust em!

Dude that really sucks. His excuses seemed pretty funny though. I did tell myself before that I was only going to let my close friends that I know return things borrow my stuff and if they messed up once then no more borrowing for them. I try to be really nice to everyone because I don't like creating tension or awkward situation when I'm hanging out with people and they ask to borrow something and I say no. I think I've also come to realize that all of my friends, except for a very select few, act extremely childish in almost every way. Not just because of the issues with borrowing things, but many other much bigger issues. And this type of stuff with stealing, not returning items, and losing items has really made me look at their maturity level overall.

I also had to put a halt to paying for my friends' lunch on occasion. At first I just bought lunch a few times for my one friend and he said he'd pay me back. I told him not to worry about it because it was so cheap and he didn't have a job at the time (also back then I wasn't in a situation where I was traveling out to see my girlfriend in california and then planning to move there and trying to save money). Eventually the majority of my other friends were taking advantage of this and asking me to buy them dinner and all this other stuff when we were hanging out. They were always telling me how they were gonna pay me back on such and such date and that I don't even have to come over to get the money, they'll come right over and drop it off and all this stuff. Well, I only got paid back twice out of the many times I've helped them out and eventually I just stopped even asking if they wanted to go get lunch or dinner with me and started bringing my own food to eat and not saying a word to them about food.

Do you think your brother is gonna get some money from the guy for the games he isn't returning? Also the guy that isn't returning me my cards and not giving me any money for not returning them left his ipod here when he was here the other days and had no idea it was at my place. He came back later that night saying how he'd been looking at all the places he'd gone and was hoping he left it at my house. I gave it back to him and was really nice about it and didn't mention the cards from earlier in the day. But the thought did pop into my mind to keep the ipod just in case he didn't return the cards or pay me, but I'm not that type of person and it wouldn't sit well with me to do that. I stay away from doing that stuff and try to be honest. Maybe I should stop over tomorrow evening and have a chat with his mom about this.

Well to be honest, I actually think that "Guy" will actually replace the games. I dont think he meant to do it in like a greazer type way, he just made a bad decision I guess, idk. But I think that he would have kept the games (not really, cuz Imo he sold him) until he was able to by replacements and just returned them...without telling anybody.

LOL, no lie. I dont think I woulda kept his ipod, but I woulda made him look for it a lil longer at minimum.

I hope he returns them to you guys. It's going to be quite awkward if I see this guy or his mom around town over the next several weeks.

I'm gonna be honest

You being a ***** about someone stealing your children's playing card game cards is almost as annoying to me as someone actually stealing them

Seriously, how old are you

Need some help:

I was looking for the old MLG interviews and articles on Melee. Especially the Bum interview.

I did find a lot of interviews on the MLG website (Chillin, Azen, Ken, M2K, Forward, Chu Dat, Cort), but not the Bum one. And I guess there's more missing in my list.

Did anyone know where I can find this? Did anyone ever collect them in one place or something? (forum search didn't help me)
